Call me simple, I don't care
The Stones are incredible.
Saw this Hyde Park concert from 2013 on Peacock and I am certain it's the best concert I've ever seen in my life.
there were 500,000 in the audience.
This has caused me to leapfrog the Stones into my 2nd place spot for bands from 4th. Some see them as old or rough around the edges but I see great precision in their live act, like none other, period. Ain't nobody that can do what those guys do.
For me it was like life-changing.

I'm surprised Jefferson Airplane isn't in your top 10. I do remember you saying that Surrealistic Pillow was your favorite album.

Yeah, Stevie Wonder and the JA are in my top ten - although my top ten is actually a top 15 or 20 because I have too many favorites that rotate in and out, lol
Neil is in my top 10 but as a subset of CSNY because those four guys have created so much great music together and apart.

Definitely Sir Paul! The Beatles are like CSNY on my lists when I consider their solo careers. I always loved All Things Must Pass. One of my favorite albums ever.

Jerry and the boys are my #1 band. Over 300 shows from 1971 to 1995. :)
... but really, The Grateful Dead is not on my list. Because no other band compares. They are in their own category.
My list is like...
Grateful Dead
Every other band!
