Just A Thought For My Fans
Just a thought:
I have been BEATEN up, I have been SUFFERED. I have been HURT, I have been TROUBLED. I have been BLED, SWEATED, SHED TEARS. I’ve endured and experienced PAIN, SORROW, ANGER, DEPRESSION, HATRED, HURT, and ADVERSITY.
They mad at me, lied to me, judging me, criticizing me, patronizing me, talked about me, misunderstanding me. They can’t stop me from what I’ll do and say.
I’ll never back down. I’ll never bow out. I’ll never quit. I’ll never concede. I’ll never lose.
Whether or not I win or lose, fail or succeed. Through heartaches, sacrifices, pain, negativity, and all of it; I’ll RISE again. I’ll keep the faith. I’ll keep doing me. I’ll keep going. I’ll keep praying.
I’ll doing RIGHT NOW. Not another second. Not another minute. Not another hour. Not another day. Not another week. Not another month. Not another year.
It’s just a thought from my fans to let them know.

Shawn if you want to tell your fans you'll never give up, that's one thing, but that paragraph about being beaten up, why would you take this to your fans? Are you hoping that the appeal you generate centers around you being a victim? If so, why is this the path you choose?

Good question, Raandy.
I mean, most if not all of us artists have been "beaten up" in one way or another to some degree. But why be anything but positive? I was also curious about your previous post about failing, even though the post was about getting radio airplay. How was that failure in your mind, Shawn?
