A Nomination Is Just A Win
Well. There you have it. Still didn't win this year at the Josie Music Awards. It's a HUGE loss for me. You know why? Because… You inspire me. You depend on me. You respect me. You trusted me. You believe in me. You love my music. You love my voice. You understand my trials and tribulations. You feel my pain. You understand my ups and downs. I work hard. I pray hard. In this independent music award season has come to an end, let me address my musical colleagues and fans: I learned from you. I respected you. I trusted you. I still got confidence. I still got transcendence. And yes, I am still learning a lesson to be exact: A nomination is just a win. No matter how hard I try, no matter what I do, no matter what I say. I am envisioned. I am WHAT I AM. I want to thank you for your continuous love and support throughout my musical journey.
Before I continue, let me give some shoutouts: Josie Passantino-Boone and Tinamarie Passantino, The Josie Network Connection, LDM Radio, Charles Laloma, Atlanta Blues Society, all the Independent and internet radio stations across the country and the world. My family, my friends, my fans, and most of all, God. Now, let me say to you right now, it's very important. If I keep on doing my thing, keep making hits, and keeping the faith. That's what independent music is all about. Thank you so much. May God be with you. One love!
