Learning Right From Wrong
In my journey as an artist, I've had some important lessons recently. Two days ago, I truly grasped the power of forgiveness and the importance of silencing the opinions of others. There’s a saying that what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, and that resonates with me deeply. I took responsibility, faced the shame and blame head-on. I’ve decided to part ways with Adrian AJ Waller, Bobby Startz, and Michael Cagle due to a misunderstanding regarding my name. The feelings of guilt and pain from that experience have been heavy, but I’m here to share that I’ve had my wins and losses. Nearly a decade into my life as an independent blues artist, I'm ready for a new outlook.
It's a fresh start for me, like a reset at 11:11. I’ve found comfort in prayer and meditation, recalling a time six years ago when I faced some harsh words that brought me low. My aim has always been to rise to the top, never settle for less. We independent artists often face challenges, and I hope this post conveys that I am focused on my artistic journey, not on negativity or insecurities. My growth as an artist remains steadfast. I've said what I needed to, and I stand by it.
To all my fellow musicians and loyal fans, I want you to understand the importance of forgiving others and letting go of outside judgments. In closing, I want to affirm that I will remain true to myself as an independent artist. I will persist; I won’t back down. This message comes from the heart. Embracing forgiveness is crucial, and I vow to respect and trust myself as I navigate each moment of my life. I will keep striving. Thank you.
With love,
Shawn Adam Williams.

Well spoken Shawn, a clear and important point on forgiveness, very good.
And yes, dont back down or be intimidated by others their lack of respect and inconsiderate attacks on ones character or music. Good job and continue your journey to success and more opportunities.
