Music banned in the UK
Would all those with an opinion please shut up according to the british gooberment. They are banning music now on the grounds of it being violent. Eh all music is violent depending on your definition of the word violent. These greasy little worms that hide in middle class suburbia have the gall to make proclamations about what music should be played and not played. Let them live in the 30th floor of a building that could burst into flames at any minute. Or be in danger as soon as you step out of the door. This band are only characterizing there life and what they see going on around them. Music is violent and reactionary so they are effectively banning all music. We do not have a democracy anymore only a dictatorship. Where people who hide behind guns and barricades make proclamations about what people should think and say. That means all gangsta rap, punk from the last 50+ years should be banned as well according to them. There only teenagers trying to get on in life what they create is there business. Unless the gooberment are planning to open a record label so they can show us what kind of music to listen to. I would be all ears

Certain Music genres are becoming more violent but so are graphic TV shows and Films. Film makers these days like to make everything as 'authentic' as possible which means they have to add a string of warnings... So you get - This film contains - violence, offensive language, flashing images, mature themes, sexual scenes and scenes that some might find upsetting. I don't think it stops people watching and probably, make it more appealing in fact.
We all know that anything banned will have more appeal and people will seek it out.
This debate has been around for a while - does music inspire violence or does violence inspire music? I've never witnessed violence in my particular middle class suburbia so I guess music dealing with it wouldn't be on my play list as entertainment, but it's horses for courses and I'd never stop others from wanting to express the seedier, more violent side of life.

Sex, drugs and violence sells. If it didn't sell they would not make it. Violence in music is no where nearly as bad as in the movies. Sometimes I leave out of the theater wishing I had someone to fight. My wife is too small and fragile and Stoney don't play that. I usually come home and take it out on the heavy bag. That helps. But yeah, the violence in movies is way too graphic. We need more sex. Hehehehehe, just kidding......maybe?

It's all PR really for the gooberment and the band everybody wins. Except freedom of speech which will sit in the corner and cry some more. Thanks Verity for adding Spacesuits to your station 10 years since i released that one

If everyone spent as much time on facebook speaking about inconsequential stuff. Spent 5 minutes doing some positive stuff it would be all over. They hold the keys to the printing press room thats all they have. We can take them back game over

Just trying to make a point of order. Unless that's banned as well u cannot delete historical music because u believe they caused the ills of the world . W hy has all my W,s got a space after them why why..?
