Top 10 bass players
In my opinion in no order Top 10 bass players.
1. Stanley Clark plays a piccolo bass which is unheard of nowadays his technique is incredible. One of the few bass players that can lead a band
2. Paul Ryder (Happy Mondays) A strange choice but to me he is the connection between funk and indie. He turned funk into a new genre
3.

Yeah I agree about Stanley. He's a monster on the bass. Never seen anyone else play with that technique before. Totally innovative! Behind him I would list Larry Graham, Bootsy Collins, Verdeen White and a relatively unknown thumper I played with years ago named "Cool Papa Sims".
