Here's something fun for a bored mind - even though it involves computer screens. Maybe what you actually need to do is go for a walk - just out in a neighborhood that's unfamiliar - it can be refreshing!
But what I was going to say is that you can help me, too. I'm a painter, and there's a website called www.saatchigallery.com that's part of a gallery in London. On the right side of the page click on "Showdown" then on "click here to see more images" then the A-Z artist listing, then Tom O'Brien. Then you can vote 1 to 10 stars for the piece that I have up there. It's a world-wide competition and after you vote for mine it will show you many other paintings to vote on.
Since it's not juried, there's a lot of junk too, but now and then there's some fine work. Vote honestly, but I hope you give me a "10!" Anyone else's vote of confidence would be much appreciated! Thanks and have fun!

OOps! It's too late to vote in this round (I didn't win), but you can still look at others' paintings. The next round of voting opens May 18th. I haven't entered a new piece yet, but I will soon!

Paul,
Go to a local park with your favorite instrument. Find a bench in the shade, and just GO OFF!! Play like your doing a huge concert. Let it all out man. I know you can do the same thing at home too, but the thought of being out in public is a whole other mindset.
You'd be surprised at the attention and the spur of the moment ideas you'll have.
(Remember to take a note pad)

Boredom is a lack of creativity. There is only one person that can help you with your boredom.

If you let 'em.

I agree Phlegm.........there are thousands of ways to amuse yourself, but you are the only one who can take the steps. No one can do it for you. We can send a dancing clown to his house I suppose. But he has to choose to answer the door and let the clown in.
