Who here plays music in their car with a USB stick?
I don't know if anyone here does this but if you do?
I'm trying to get the songs on the stick to play in a specific order and even though they look ok when I view the stick on my laptop as soon as I put it in my car they play in alphabetic order.
Any suggestions?

It's dangerous to play with your stick while driving.

I don't but unless the tracks have a track number the player has to sort then some how.
Make sure the MP3 are encoded with the track number
01. xyz
02. ttt
03 abc
04 ddd
etc

I was not being a smart ass sometime people give a title with no number.
There might be a setting on your radio to tell it to sort by alphabet when using aux input see if your radio has a section in user manual on how to change sort order when playing from an aux source the default might be alphabet instead of numerical.
Good luck,
