The Greatest Gift ever received.
On Christmas Eve, My Wife and I took our three year old Son Aidan to see a Pediatric cardiologist. We viewed an ultrasound of his heart. It was amazing, watching his heart pump blood and the valves working. We received the results in The Doctors office..A perfectly strong heart with an "innocent Murmer". The world was lifted from our own hearts. Two weeks of worry vanished, and we were given the greatest gift we could hope for. Aidan will be fine, no restrictions and he will most likely grow out of the Murmer.
Hope all had an equally special Christmas....

So happy for you, Jeff. I think your wonderful news could be a story for your new song. People often say that stress and unhappiness inspire them for writing. I think happiness can do that too. You had both - stress, anxiety and happiness in a short period which could call for an amazing story. Just a thought :)

That's great news Jeff.
I've had a murmer all my life and I'm 53.
I'm prone to blood clots, but the murmer has become an ongoing joke with my cardiologist everytime I visit him. He'll put the stethiscope up and listen for a while and tell me "you know........ you have a heart murmer, right?" Last time I told him "yeah, my heart's taking lessons from our drummer"
He'll be fine Jeff.

That's great news, Jeff!
My brother's son had a congenital heart malfunction that also recently "cleared up" as he grew older. They originally had trouble getting medical insurance because of it ... but it's no longer an issue ... so I know of the "lifting" of the veil you speak of.
Xmas would have been great but for Mom falling down and breaking her hip. Her operation was this morning and she came through it fine. Now it's onto physical therapy for a couple months ... but it's better than not being able to walk at all.
Hope 2010 is a great year for you and yours.
