HATS OFF! to these Guy's
This article on the UK BBC News website today
concerning the problems at the Fukushima
Nuclear power plant made a big impression
on me today!

A bunch of retired engineers have offered
to come forward to sort out the problems,
on the basis they have (c)15 years left to live,
and they would be willing to go in and stabalise
the situation, rather than leave it to the
younger engineers who would suffer the
consequences of major exposure
to radiation that this would involve:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-pacific-13597670

"A group of more than 200 Japanese pensioners
is volunteering to tackle the nuclear crisis at the
Fukushima power station.

The "Skilled Veterans Corps", as they call themselves,
is made up of retired engineers and other professionals,
all over the age of sixty.

One of the group, Yasuteru Yamada, told the BBC's
Roland Buerk that they should be facing the dangers
of radiation, not the young."

(The IDIOT interviewer asks if they are 'Kamakazi pensioners')

In this day and age, how awesome is this sacrifice,
that they would be willing to give it all up, to help their
fellow human beings???

I have learned something about the Japanese people
today, that will stay with me for a LONG time!

HATS OFF! to these Guy's

I hope you can view this article from the above link,
but if not, then find the article in any way you can,
and see the willingness of these guy's to offer the
ultimate sacrifice!

ROCK ON JAPAN!!! ROCK ON!!!

This mentality is what makes the difference between the younger generation and the "unrespected" older-wiser generation...
The geezers know what it takes and love thier own enough to take care of matters. You can only hope that the people understand the sacrafice thats being offered.
