thank you Chandra and to Glenn for adding the song to your stations. hiring an elite fiddle player who has been on many other peoples songs, toured and backed nashville stars and put out some amazing cds, it was an honor to have him take time out from his busy schedule to fit me in, thanks to my brother Ted who suggested having him on the song, and knows him quite well. This is a gem of a real fine musician of the highest calibre

It was my pleasure Bryon.
Once you mentioned fiddle and Floyd Cramer, I had to have a listen. I wasn't disappointed, and I agree that it was well worth it.
Though you employ many styles, I don't remember anything like this in your catalog.
Honestly I'd forgotten about Floyd Cramer, so double thanks for jogging my shoddy memory.

Thanks Glenn, I appreciate the feedback and acknowledgement. I would listen to country, country western cowboy songs since young and my Dad's influence was there since he had old time records and floyd cramer was an influence as well, he was big on Johnny Horton too. Dad took us to a floyd cramer boots randolph chet atkins concert in Vancouver in 63 - 64 or so, that was pretty cool. Over time I would experiment and mimic Cramers style with the leaning into or slide move to gain that Cramer touch. I guess it is a bounce style as well. As for the Special nights tune it moves fast and jumps all over the place but intertwined in there is a melody of sorts, Cramer used that style in his "last dance" tune a slow song which you probably are familiar with and most of his music, it was his signature move of course. I would use the Cramer thing in various other music styles, and it is evident in my first cd release on u r my soulmate in a few places. I think I subconsciously use it here and there even in bluesy numbers without knowing it on occasion.
Thanks to you Glenn, as well as Chandra Moon, Steve April and Norm for adding the song to their stations. Maybe others will as well. who knows.
