What Projects are you IMPNATION artists working on ?
I have done nothing recently, (except special days special nights with a fiddle player which is posted here) hope to get going again with originals in the new year 2023 coming up fast!!!
1 .Currently I am doing compilations of videos I did over the years. First was the recordings I did at Blue Frog Studios, all in one take, a half hour of songs 10 songs 30 minutes long video wise
2 Then I did a number of improvisation tunes that is up at youtube, posted at youtube ,
3 Afterwards I did up an appearance with the bluevoodoo at blue frog its a video I did with my H3 ZOOM at blue frog studios and jazzy jones blues club with a camera at jazzy jones.
4. I am going to upload 5-6 covers I did at blue frog and home studio up to youtube soon as a 30 minute video
5 I will also post some collaborations I have done with 5-6 indie artists over the past few years after the new year
This is my piano originals I recorded at Blue Frog Studios with my H3, it broke a few months ago, so need to get a new video recording machine soon. Maybe I should check outside my house and see if anyone sent me something lol

Getting all the songs and photography to the new label for future releases, Working on two new jazz pieces while i contemplate a Jazz album for late 23'. Working on internal business projects (copyrights/publishing) in preparation for new releases. Finishing up the last songs for the "Starfunk" movie. Re-writing songs for the original stage play "Return To Homebase". In other words, things are kind of slow right now.

Great Bryon, Really enjoyed te song and your video performance. You have chops on the keys my frriends, I am usuall relaegated to the white keys :)
Glad you are staying busy, congrats to you. I appreciate what you do on this site, and the support you have always given me as an artist and songwriter. Thank you
I spent the last few days retooling my studio. I have finally made the leap to 100% in the box computer recording. Up to this I have recorded all my songs on a Korg D1600 nad then a Korg D3200. The last song I did, which got me moving, the "Christmas Cheer" tune was a hybrid. I recorded in the Korg, then transfereed the WAV files to the computer and mixed in A hARRISON mixbus 6 daw (A really great old school Console DAW)
I am happy with the how "Cheer" came out, especially since it was my first new recording in several years. The process was tedious however, so I had to say goodbye to my old friend the Korg D3200...It served me well.
I bought a Focusrite Sacarlet 18i20 interface, and swithed out all my routing cables. This was a project, but thankfullu I got them all mapped andconnected to the Focuswrite
I then got a Behringer XTtouch Universal Control surface. I need the tactile touch of moving faders and adjusting pan poys. It took me a full two days to get it to work with my freinds help on the mixbus forums...It felt like christmas morning all over agian when the faders jumped into place, Could not be happier.
So, my creative aura has been reawakened, and my studio is ready to be fired up. I spent the last several years writing songs as they came to me...all were organic and never forced, As a result of the time laspse, I now have,28 songs that I think are pretty good. I plan to release them as 4 six song EP'S with a separate single to be released in advance. This should take me the next year and half to 2 years as I want to arrange and record them well.
So there you have it...good things are on the horizon. I am impressed with the new tools at my disposal in plug ins that emulate great recording gear...including a full Abbey Road suiite of plug ins including classic compressors (1176) and reverbs. I am very excited. I will of course share here as this site has always been a great place for me,
Kind Regards, Happy New Year to you Bryon, as well as all the artists here who share the love of music creation.
Regards,
Jeff

Great to hear your projects all, and Jeff and Stoneman, FT and your negten groove kicks, you guys all rock, thanks for the kudos Jeff.I like supporting and comment on peoples music, when I can, For me, I am just a piano guy, that is just where I excel, anyways not much for production and skills on the software thing and have tried to develop that area, far from what I like to do and achieve. still a long ways from putting down some rich rocking tunage and quality killer works, big learning curve over the years, and takes lots of work to get good at it like you JEff and Stoneman and many others who have the chops at mixing songcrafting etc.,
I am more an instrumentalist, not a lyricist really just aint me! lol
take care happy new year

I have some music plans for the next year.
The choir I sing with is going to be performing Vivaldi's Gloria with a full orchestra. I've been practicing this one every day for about a month now. Rehearsals start next week. There are few things cooler than being that close to a full orchestra, so I am definitely looking forward to this.
I am going to enhance my extensive cover song list by learning 50-100 new songs from this century, lol. Most of my covers are 50s through 80s with some 90s and some 40s and earlier - but I am sorely lacking music from the 21st-century catalog. I am going to fix that this year.
I also plan on getting caught up on my copyright registrations for all the tunes I wrote over the last three-plus years. I have written literally a few hundred songs, or fragments of songs, over the last few years that no one has heard. So it would be nice to organize some of the music and perhaps record and release a few songs.
But right now, it is all about choir practice.
Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone!
Two or three new tunes to start with. I'm going to utilize some of the newer instruments I've acquired and start doing videos too.
I'm looking into other forms of "art" and may try to incorporate some cool ideas into my music for the upcoming year!
Cheers,
Duane

I'm working on some very upbeat, melodic but still rockin' stuff, a little more commercial than what I usually do, ear candy to be sure :-) New year, new sound!

I have finished a new song but the upload does not seem to work. I even tried a different song that I have not got on my page. None of my uploads worked.
