When some one says you sure are talented
its not just talent, talent is a gift. it took years of hard work and developing the skills I have, lots of sacrifices and hours of practice yet yes being inspired motivated and encouraged helps a lot,
again one has to bear down and work, some get it better quicker and more refined, i found to learn my craft, it took longer and was more difficult at times then others i know,
i am reasonable at what it do playing the piano and the various styles I have developed
I had to work diligently at becoming proficient at it. there are so many more pianists musicians that are so much more capable and far more skilled.
I am still learning, yet, slow sometimes. maybe they were better at working smarter, i guess
sometimes it is difficult educating people on the word talent.
what do you all think?

The Beatles are obviously talented individually and collectively but I don’t think they would have been the phenomena they were if fate hadn’t brought them together. What if John had never met Paul? What if Paul wasn’t a workaholic who pushed them to write, rehearse and record? What if they had never met George Martin?
Talent is essential to success in the arts but fate and a little bit of luck help as well. Of course hard work is crucial and the Beatles worked hard to play every night in Hamburg Germany.. The consistent performing definitely fine tuned their act. In their case practice did make perfect. Talent, hard work and luck are a very effective combination.

Okay Richard, fair enough, although I did specify the talent is one thing, yet it is not talent that helps us if we dont address and develop the talents we are given, gifted or blessed with
its skill, not talent that helps us progress, a talent is a gift we have been given in a specific area or perhaps a number of areas, the talent is recognized by either the individual or parents or someone that sees some aspect that shows the person who recognized these talents or lack of even.
anyways, perhaps Someone can better explain this talent thing, or as such a gift that one has and then works that gift into a incredible ability through sheer hard work and practice
anyways
thats my take

I was agreeing with you. You did a good job on the subject of talent and I attempted to reinforce your points.
