I think I could've told this was a relative of you, Bob, without knowing. He sings a song in a Shakey voice that was real as the day is long. (that's a line from a Neil Young song).

Such a lovely mystical quality to this production. So many disparate sounds making a trippy whole. The vocal makes me feel like I'm being let in on a secret, and it comes at you with a hesitance of emotion that is very powerful. Parker sounds wise beyond his years. His voice has an authority that every singer must have to be taken seriously. The song, as a whole, is all tension and no release - this is not a criticism, just an observation and something to think about. I think the tension parallels the constant tension of modern society. But the groove was delicious on my ears. I felt like I'd taken my ears to a spa. I've listened to the whole album a number of times and it's all pretty mystical and beautiful. I'm going to listen to the song again after I finish writing this, and I don't always do that. This song washes over you like when you dive under a wave and let it pass over you and come up on the other side.
