Six Sixty-Six
Had a surprise visit from Sean and his cellist girlfriend. Sweet session with just playing all three at the same time on one microphone (AT 3035). Here is nice take of us doing Larry Norman's "Six Sixty-Six":

You know recording in real time with people on just one mic is so sweetly simple.
We have a couple others that came out well: "Everybody's Talkin'" and "Corrina, Corrina." Maybe I'll put those up later.
Watchoo tink, eh?

Thanks for the listen and the add, Bry. Larry Norman had some great songs.
Hope I can record this way a lot more.
The AT 3035 is a good mic, but it costs 250.

Any of you familiar with the writer of that tune? Larry Norman? He was a Christian rocker. He was a true artist. Died a bit ago.
Look on you tube and you can find a couple of Frank Black covers of "Six Sixty-Six." One of them he just sings with no band or guitar , just a bottle of beer. That's a great one. There's one of Larry doing it, too. I guess Frank was kind of close to him. Stayed by him at his death bed.
There's some strange bedfellows for ya.
