Need Help With Problem Between Zoom H2 and MacBook Pro
So I plugged the Zoom H2 into the Macbook, and right away everything gets recognized, there are my wavs from the H2, and I can easily get them on itunes and they play.
So great, I'm thinking, I don't even have to go through my studio equipment to get my wavs off, they just jump right into the Mac.
But then when I unplug the thing, the song names appear in itunes, but the files are not there anymore, and worse than that, now the 2 gig memory card I was using in the Zoom is no longer recognizable by the Zoom. It thinks there is no card in there.
I got a new 8 gig card and I've been using that fine, so nothing is wrong with the Zoom H2 or the MacBook, but that 2 gig card (and all music I put on it) is a goner.
I don't want to try to dump my new 8 gig card into the Mac now for fear it will ruin that one, too, but it sure would be great to unload the songs in that simple way when I want to.
ANyone know what might have happened here? Maybe there was a disconnect I was supposed to do that I didn't? Kind of weird that whatever happened rendered that whole 2 gig memory card unusable.
Thanks for any tips you may have...

Reading the card directly on to the Mac with a card reader could be worth a try if for any reason the USB connection doesn't work. Hopefully the Mac should recognise that there is a drive there. If the files have disappeared, you might possibly have some luck with a file recovery program.
