Software I Use For Music Making
First let me say I have never paid for any software for music or video making. I have been lucky enough to find versions of software that are cracked, but due to the risks of virus and malware, I don't recommend this for everyone.
I have a Windows 7.1 Ultimate 64bit PC for the main DAW, I have a M-Audio Delta 6 PCI card with a breakout box which has 4 inputs and 4 outputs for the interface.
I use Sony Acid 7.0e for multi track recording. It's old tech, but I find it's easy to use and works.
For mastering and converting to mp3 I use Adobe Audition 2015, again old tech, but it has great noise reduction capability. And it runs on Windows 7, the newer versions of Audition need W10.
I have another Windows 7 PC with the Korg Legacy collection(soft synth), and Native Instruments B4(soft hammond), It has a Terratec 24/96 soundcard, So I midi up to the Korg/B4 on the one PC, and record on the other.
I use a Yamaha DX7 as the controller keyboard. I sometimes use the DX7 through a Tapco mixer straight into the M-Audio breakout box.
I also have a Yamaha CS2x synth that has great sounds, but doesn't have a touch sensitive keyboard, I usually midi it and drive it with the DX7 to get some velocity sensitivity.

I have a couple of guitars, A Spanish acoustic, and a Tanglewood Les Paul copy, both were gifted to me for which I'm most grateful.

For video making I use Magix Vegas 14 Pro, and Sony Movie Studio Platinum 12.

I have been so lucky to get the softwarez for free, but I must reiterate that there is a great risk with any cracked warez, and if you have a spare PC you can find and install and test without danger. but as a warning, I read online about a user who installed a version of Vegas from a torrent site, and then got hit with a ransomware attack, he lost all his files.

My bro and music partner Russ is a sound crafting maniac. But I use my phone or a digital voice recorder to record myself singing live with an acoustic guitar. And then I'll add a little reverb or something in Audacity. That is the extent of my "production" skills.

I call it flat engineering where everything is 0db where the LUFS-S is not below -12db. Or radio stations won't play it

For music making, I use a variety of software to achieve the best results. spectrum billing customer support My main tools include Ableton Live for its versatility, FL Studio for intuitive beat making, Logic Pro X for professional-grade production, and Native Instruments Komplete for a vast array of virtual instruments and effects.
