AI
This is all I have to say on the matter, after that i really don't care.
What is legally said about Suno:

Suno does not claim ownership of songs created on its paid Pro or Premier plans, "but"-- it does not grant full copyright protection to the AI-generated music. Instead, users who generate music while subscribed to a paid plan are granted commercial "use rights", allowing them to distribute and monetize the songs on platforms like YouTube, Spotify, and TikTok.
However, Suno explicitly states that it does not guarantee the music is unique or free from potential copyright infringement, and the legal responsibility for any issues lies entirely with the user.

For songs created on the free plan, Suno retains commercial rights, and these tracks are restricted to non-commercial use only.
Even if a user later subscribes, they do not receive retroactive commercial rights for songs made during the free period.

Importantly, while Suno grants commercial use rights to paid users, the AI-generated music itself may not qualify for copyright protection under current U.S. law, as copyright requires human authorship. This means that although users can legally distribute and monetize the music, the underlying composition may not be eligible for copyright registration unless significant human input—such as original lyrics or substantial editing—is added.

Therefore, while Suno does not hold partial rights to songs created on paid plans, the user’s ability to claim full copyright is limited by the lack of human authorship in the AI-generated elements.

Yep! If you're using the free version though you're supposed to include, Made by Suno AI in the description. Otherwise, no restrictions. Answer from theidapixldreams on reddit.com
So much for you owning the song!

Good for you Bryon, it seems some on here are awful touchy. AI just doesn't belong on here, to me it's a slap in Artists faces on here. AI will be taking over all jobs in the USA & those whose jobs are lost by AI will be put on Universal pay of about $700 per month. The Elite are taking over our world & they are using AI to do it. Next will be CBDC if Americans don't act very soon. You will have no freedom ever again & everything you do will be under their permission. Just another reason to hate AI!
Have a good Sunday!

say Wes, I was being facetious I am actually with Larree on this, I see no problem using it as a tool, yet keeping ones songs as a guide and getting ideas from the covers of ones tunes from Suno, sorry I came across like I agreed with you, cause honestly I dont, I have stated so in other posts you made

i think this will eventually be helpful. I been doing this songwriting since the 70s and belong to a PRO SOCAN as a member and other organizations

cheers

That's good, I wrote my first Blues song in 1971, in fact it's on here now, These Blues I'm Feelin', & my brother was signed to capital records back in the mid 60's, my mother wrote religious songs & had some of them put on religious albums, in which she received royalty payments. Was friends with the guitarist from FattBurger & with Andrew Gold who wrote the songs for Goldem Girls TV show & Friends, unfortunately he died in 2011. So I've been at this for quite some time also.I have lots of experience in the music business.

I started playing with guitars in 1962 when I was five, and started playing in garage bands in 1970. I had to ride three buses with my guitar and amp to play with a real drummer. And I'm still just a poor slob who never caught a real break, and I don't even care because I love music so much! Party on!

Oh, and Wes. Even though you are kind of like the old man yelling at the clouds, you're alright. I added your Twister tune to my Earthquake Blues station. Happy New Year to ya.

I love AI.
It stuck to me like the cells in my skin cancer, similar to a COVID adherence protein, Elmer's Glue, or a Band Aide.
That's all I'll say about that!
I love AI.

Me too! The more I play with it, the more I dig it. I am about to drop an old rap of mine from 2000-2001 that I Sunoed.
