Congratulations Ray on being nominated for a Golden Kayak award for "Crown Of Thorns". It is a great song and I was proud to add it to my Legendary Music station this past December.

I am truly privileged, honoured and blessed to share a place with you on the list of 2008 IAIA Golden Kayak award nominees. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think such a day would come to pass in my life. This is another amazing chapter in my dream come true and is more than I could ever have imagined possible. I owe so much to you and to your awesome contribution to "The Cowboy Song". You and Gary and Ken and Steve all share in the success of what has become my "signature" song, and in the success of my debut album. My sincere thanks to each of you from the bottom of my heart.

As for the Golden Kayaks, I am so thrilled to see you on the list of nominees Ray, and no matter the outcome of the voting, just being nominated for Best Song in a category is one of the highest honours that we could possibly receive from our peers. I was so happy to see this happen to you here at IAC.

It is really great to see you here Ray. I wish you mountains of new success, not only here on IAC Music but in all of your endeavours, to add to your many years of achievements and accomplishments.

In my mind, and I'm sure in the mind of countless others, and for all the reasons that you have given of yourself to so many through your love of music over the years, no one can be more deserving than you of nothing but the very best that life and this world of music has to offer.
