He's a two time member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but what a remarkable career, this is one of the alltime MVPs of rock, and of course, folk music as well. David Crosby was one of the founding members of the Byrds and CSNY, and his solo career is really just starting to blossom, he is supremely prolific, right now. He is a great activist as well and he's also perhaps the most prominent hippie there ever was. He lights up the Twitter landscape as one of the most open artists in the social media age. What a life he's led. He co-wrote Eight Miles High and Wooden Ships. He provided the middle harmony, perhaps the most important one, to the CSN sound. Rolling Stone said his most recent album Lighthouse is his best work since the 70s, and his first solo record If I Can Only Remember My Name is an alltime classic, on many greatest albums lists. He's worked with David Gilmour, Joni Mitchell, the Jefferson Airplane, Elton John, and many others. Now he brings us a political statement about the US Congress called Capitol. We are so honored to have him at IMP.
