One dull day in a little corporate corner of England, a young media man realised that he was brassed off with polishing the enlarged egos of the very grey men that he had served so well for many years. Johnny Normal was born from the frustration of many years, and unleashed his creative biting little puppies on the world around him... Normality has been resumed.

Johnny Normal creates a musical bag of 'Englishness' that finds its roots in pop, punk and electronic music from the 1980s onwards.

Johnny's inspiration is drawn from the life he sees around him, the things people gloss over... everyday stuff like family, fried breakfast, relationships, fear, envelopes and being run over.
