I was a cub scout, a scout. a cadet. air cadet or sea cadet was so tough, I gave up as a air cadet, plbbb, too much discipline, not my thing. and I was like 18-19 and into other stuff, haha , once I got into my teens, well that crap was outside of my wheelhouse. , I remember in cubs doing dob dob dob dyb dyb dyb. lol , getting badges , stars for ones cap,
there were Some great people who handled these organizations , we had real fine leaders and terrific examples of upstanding well respected people in the troop we had in Richmond BC
learned a lot, now there were some dorks and dingaling kids but we all have been somewhat evil and mischievous , I was, I dont want to say some of things I did, even I still cringe and go, I did that!!! but that is like anything, one sees all kinds in this life. we have to just do the best we can, and try our best to set good examples to and for others. we all make mistakes and do missteps, its part of our human experience.
Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo no thats some other song, beavers beavers what the hell LOL beavers I aint going there about beavers HAHA

Didn't see the speech but it seems it was pretty well received by just about everyone so what is all the fuss about?
I did see a part where the scouts all booed Clinton & Obama, that may be a strike against Trump for politicizing the event, but he certainly wasn't the first president to do that.
Never did the Scouts myself and I'm thankful for that, my older brothers had a degenerate as a leader that I would later run into for a teacher in middle school years. The scum of the earth and he sure did plenty of politicizing among students, he should have never been allowed near children in any school and especially the Scouts.
And then there was this Eagle Scout that was involved in a local murder.. Ugly scene and a senseless crime. I'm sure the Scouts as a whole is a great organization but not all the leaders can be trusted and obviously not all the kids turn out well.

When I saw this blurb posted, I thought, what a cryptic and poor excuse for a topic, like why not expand upon it and provide something more so people can get a sense of what you are talking about
