I always thought how interesting it might be to create a band consisting of the multiple children Macca abandoned in the past and call it "The McCartneys". Catchy name don't you think?

I wonder what his musical response to that would be..

"When Your 64.." That's a pretty good song, I still may release is one day.

Paul's a classic liberal idiot. He talks a good game but he's completely full of himself and will bend any way the wind is blowing. This is a guy who in the past has referred to his own flesh & blood as scum and he going dictate morality to Trump?

The Beatles should have kept Pete Best and kicked him out of the band.

I should have stayed with the Heather project, I sure had the material for it.

As an artist Paul is fine, but when he gets on his pedestal and starts dictating morality that's where he fails miserably. How can you be sitting on top of 1.6 bil and not take care of the children you fathered in the past? And I'm supposed to be impressed with this guy?

No.

I love Macca... I just don't think any young people today give a crap about what he's doing or what he has to say. Not saying he sucks or anything even remotely close to that. When I was a kid I didn't want to listen to Frank Sinatra... that was my Mothers music.
And Wings was one of my favorite bands growing up.

I don't care or need to hear any musicians political views but they're free to spout them all they want...
Seems lots of musicians feel the need to pontificate their righteous political views... just don't do it at a live show imo.

I am with Jeff, nothing worse then ruining a concert with ones daff views on politics ,protest songs, well thats different, talking about specific individuals, well you lose me there, keep entertaining, and without riff raff and BS. Paul is great, no question, although my listening tastes have changed, i grew up with the music of the beatles and Stones the Who, and all the 60s bands while most of you were babies or not even thought about. yup I am that old. you are just kids in my books. lol

One of my all time greatest moments attending a concert was seeing CSNY do Neil Young's song Let's Impeach The President about W. Bush. They put the words up o the screen and everyone was singing along, it was beautiful, I think like 3 people walked out. Roger Waters is touring now and bashing Trump is a big part of his shows.

Trump is the best thing to ever happen in the political arena in the US, being a true outsider, he brings something fresh to the table, not your useless as a tit on a boars ass like the majority of pork barrellers fattening their own pockets and doing really nothing for their constituencies , I do feel sorry though for the poor whiny left who are doing their damn best to make lots of noise trying to fan the flames of BS Baffles brains looking for something to take the man down, aint gonna happen. Interesting to note all those working with Mueller are lefties commies LOL One day Clinton with suffer the wrath of Khan, and she will be fired out to space ,good bye you witch

Ex-Beatle Accused of Faking Paternity Test
Paul McCartney Under Investigation in Berlin

http://www.spiegel.de/international/zeitgeist/ex-beatle-accused-of-faking-paternity-test-paul-mccartney-under-investigation-in-berlin-a-483950.html

Back in 1960s as Paul McCartney was penning his hit "When I'm 64," he probably didn't envisage that his own year spent as a 64-year-old would entail quite so much unpleasant drama. He's spent the last year dealing with a highly publicized and acrimonious divorce from his second wife, Heather Mills -- and now he has to deal with a German fraud investigation.

A speaker for the Berlin public prosecutor's office, Michael Grunwald, confirmed on Friday to reporters that the office is investigating claims that McCartney faked a paternity test 23 years ago.

Bettina Krischbin, a 46-year-old Berliner, claims that the superstar is her dad. She also says he sent a stand-in to take a blood test back in the 1980s. McCartney has always denied being the woman's father and when the blood test proved negative in 1984, a Berlin court dismissed her claim.

The woman, who works as a caretaker in an old people's home in Berlin, claims her mother, Erika Hübers, had an affair with the British musician between 1959 and 1962. At the time the Beatles were playing on Hamburg's infamous Reeperbahn and hadn't yet risen to fame.

Now she wants to prove that McCartney sent a body double to take the blood test. "The signature in the old documents is false," she told the mass-circulation Bild Zeitung. "We have found the signature is from a right-handed person, but Paul is left-handed."

The woman also told Bild that the ex-Beatle, who is currently worth an estimated €1.1 billion, gave her mother 30,000 deutsche marks (€15,300) in 1966 and then paid her 200 DM a month for years. "Why would he do that if he supposedly isn?t the father?"

Erika Hübers says she supports her daughter's wish for a new paternity test and recognition as McCartney's daughter. "I think we have a good chance now," she said, "because he lied to the court -- provided it with false evidence."

But the Berlin public prosecutor's office warned that the investigaton is only in the preliminary phase. "Anyone can bring a case against anyone else," Grunwald explained.

ENTER MICHELLE McCARTNEY, THE REJECTED DAUGHTER OF BEATLE PAUL McCARTNEY, AS SHE CELEBRATES IN PARIS THE RELEASE OF HER NEW ALBUM.

Paris, France 99933390012/C06

Guitar player and singer MICHELLE McCARTNEY celebrated at the Paris's fashionable night club 'Aux Bains Douches' the release of her new musical album MICHELLE, which is going on the stands this month in the U.S. and in most European countries.

The natural daughter of musician PAUL McCARTNEY is picking up her father's career in spite of the fact that the former Beatle has not yet recognized her as his daughter, but has accepted to keep an eye on her and on her musical career.

Michelle was born from a romantic relationship of Paul McCartney and the French aristocrat Monique La Vallier. They were respectively 17 and 15 at the age she was conceived.

The artist, who makes her home in Paris, defines her music style as Hard Rock with a backdrop of pounding and trash-bag rhythm that began in Hollywood where she spent the last fifteen years of her life playing in underground bands as a left-hand guitarist.

She moved back to her native France last year and her new album has some songs she wrote and others Teoni L., Patrick LeFerrier and Zenith Leroy, all growing musicians from the underground beat world of Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam.

Her last concert in America was at the Hollywood Coconut Teaszer this yearr. Her repertory included guitar playing as well as left handed bass, her titled songs, I WANNA BE YOUR MAN and JOHN LENNON's SCREAM were definitely appreciated, so did MICHELLE, MA BELLE, that she sang almost in tears, evoking the fact that her father wrote it thinking about her.

Musically Michelle McCartney has a lot of talent, and even if some of the London and Paris musical papers define her performances as 'needing as lot of improvement', her recent link with MADONNA's composer and mixing-king Patrick Leonard, who was with her in Paris to visit for three weeks to foresee future projects, could lead her career to higher standards.

Michelle McCartney was born as Michelle Le Vallier in Paris on April 5, 1961 and her birth certificate states that her father is James-Paul McCartney from England.

All of her life as a child Michelle grew up ignoring that she was Paul McCartney's daughter. Her mother just used to say, 'You know, Michelle, your father was a very handsome hippy boy I met when I was a teenager. I became pregnant from our short relationship and when I tried to tell him, he was gone and I never saw him again.'

Michelle however discovered who her father was when at age 15, she went to pick up her birth certificate and saw her father's name. As she confronted her mother again, Monique was obliged to tell her the truth, and Michelle tried to make contact with her father without success.

Growing up Michelle picked up her father's name and felt the need to embrace her father's career but with anger and frustration in her heart. She saw her father in person only once as she cued up for two hours at Bercy Theatre in Paris on October 14, 1993 after McCartney's concert to have his autograph. When she was finally close to her father, and the late Linda McCartney was next to him, Michelle didn't have the courage of telling him 'Dad, I'm Michelle your daughter'. She just took his autograph and with tears in her eyes kissed his chick. Paul McCartney never knew he had seen his daughter for the very first time. Few months later, returning to Los Angeles Michelle took action as she asked the Los Angeles court to oblige her father to recognize her.

When Beatle Paul McCartney was approached years ago and asked why he refused to recognize Michelle as his daughter, he simply declared, 'I have had many women in my life who have tried to impose me with the paternity of their children, I simply refuse to cooperate, and I have to protect myself from these ladies.' When he was asked if he remembered to have had a relation-ship with Michelle's mother Monique Le Vallier, Paul said, 'I don't remember, I was so young!'.

[Back in 1993, when Michelle asked the Los Angeles Court to oblige Paul McCartney to undergo a blood-test that could prove that he is her father, very cleverly Paul slipped out of the U.S. in time not to be served with the legal papers that would have obliged him to pass the test.]

In respect of her father's recent loss of his wife Linda, Michelle did not pursue her legal action against Paul McCartney, but was determined to bring back the case both in England and in the U.S. to be recognized. Her attorneys both in the U.K. and in Los Angeles have asked McCartney to keep a law profile with the media until this case is in front of the appropriate court.

Paul McCartney was already sued by his other illegitimate daughter, the German born Bettina Llubers in 1986. The case was settled between the two parties by mutual out-of-court agreement.

Michelle says that she wouldn't settle with her father for money, and would only be happy and satisfied if Paul recognizes her officially.

When Michelle's half-sister Stella McCartney was approached last week in Paris at 'Chloe's Design' in Paris, where she works she declared, 'I don't know this lady and I have nothing to say!' . The same thing was repeated in London, as we tried to approach her other half-sister, pottery designer Heather McCartney and Heather's statement was 'I didn't know I have another sister!

However Michelle says that her father made finally an approach to her last summer and they finally met. Though the financial matters have not yet been satisfied to compensate Michelle. Michelle says that the few hours she spent with Paul were the happiest hours of her whole life'

She concluded 'My father said that he would keep an eye on my career, and that's all for now.'

Gregg I'd prefer you not trash this forum with scandal sheet material about Sir Paul, your sources like the ones you'd use about Obama at realitybb are horrible, you don't care at all about that.

At least Donald Trump takes care of all his kids Scott, that's a lot more than can be said for your hero. FWIW, there's at least 2 more in Canada and another 2 in the lower 48. And I really don't dwell on this stuff but having had another Paul idolizer who followed him around the world for many years doing some backup vocals, well I guess one of the fringe benefits of that association were these revelations..

But it's not on my conscience but how does one sleep at night? (No wonder John wrote that song..)

The Democrats have no direction, they are drifting like a ship at sea with out a rudder, . they are floating in a sea of despair still wringing their hands and gnashing their teeth at what transpired in last years election, "hello", its a socialist party with no leaders in sight, they have no one that has even a hope of being a leader, Trump at least is doing something, still drawing huge crowds in his appearances, and pulled in a democrat Jim Justice in w virginia to the GOP last night, nice slap in the face eh, he knows which party has the right stuff, so Hillary offered nothing of any value to the American people except her own personal agenda of being the 1st women president, EPIC FAIL, as is her husband and her marriage, if Trump is a liar, Hillary is the inventor of lies, devil incarnate, the wicked witch of the south. Your Democrats have so much bitching going on, the only thing they are offering is Trump up as a sacrificial lamb, what are they, the representatives and elected officials of that party for their constituents, anything, what one good thing are any of them bringing to the table, all they are is a negative minded party hell bent on doing everything they can to bring down Trump, reason, they lost the election, Hilary is gone, good riddance to that trash.

Some people belong on a pedestal Jeff. Paul is one. I think if you saw the show I went to, you'd agree.

Gregg, you're just a gossip monger. and you're obsessed with Paul's ex.

No Ft...
No one in my world.
What someone does on a stage may be brilliant wonderful awesome etc...
People can do good deeds but their life as a whole only they know... so why even bother thinking that way when you can never even know all there is to know about someone?
We all have a dark or at least darker side.

I'm not religious.

I was referring to this..

so why even bother thinking that way when you can never even know all there is to know about someone?

It's this assumption that what you don't know must be bad.

Not necessarily... but generally speaking we usually know the good... people want us to know that part.
Which leaves us with what we don't know of someone.

Do you think the fans that praised all the work Lance Armstrong did for charity etc... really knew him?
He was loved by sooooo many... he stood up to the accusations of being a cheater fought his way through cancer... etc... a Beacon of light in a sports world full of cheats.
Oh wait... he was cheating too.
lulz...
Did you see that one coming?
Probably not... He had most of the world fooled.
I've no need for this type of admiration for anyone.

No... I accept that people are flawed and we all know it. Would be naive to think otherwise.
So to think that an artist isn't is just foolish to me... and the possibilities of the unknown are endless.
Again you can praise whoever you choose. Just not my thing...
I know it's negative yadda yadda...

Jeff is correct, we all have foibles if we could only see how we really are and not what we think we are, and how the private lives of public people really are, scary thought :)

"He's unleashed the ugly side of America. People feel like they have got a free pass to be, if not violent, at least antagonistic towards people of a different color or a different race. I think we all thought we'd got past that a long time ago." His support for Trump's opponent, Hillary Clinton, was revealed during the 2016 campaign when a picture of McCartney and Clinton was taken before a show he was to do in Cleveland. McCartney's comment on the picture in a tweet said, "She's with me."

Right Pauly...

As I have been saying all along "People everywhere suck". You don't have to look far into a persons past to find the sucky parts. Back in the day they use to call it skeletons in the closet. Everybody has some. Me? Well, I use to be a street thug before I became a soldier and later a minister. There are only a few people I know of that deserve to be put on a pedestal. People like Martin Luther King JR., JFK, Mohamed Ali, and Stevie Wonder. These people consistently demonstrated character and truth through out their lives. IMO, the rest of us just suck. Some suck worse than others but all of us suck or have sucked in some way. Some of us suck right now while we read these posts. The value of a person is manifested in the way that they value others. I have known people on the battle field that certainly valued the lives of others over their own. Their actions toward saving others despite the fact that it would make themselves vulnerable is not only heroic, it is courageous and daring. These are the kinds of people that I hold up high on a pedestal. Musicians? Well, I will always respect gifted artists for what they do and how well they do it. But, there are very few that I hold high on a pedestal. Marvin Gaye, because his work echoed the times and spoke to the hearts of many all over the world. He was a musical visionary with talent and skill far beyond his time. John Lennon, because his music changed the entire musical landscape. Every great song was held up to his work as a guage of its authentic perfection. In my eyes, he was the true King of Rock & Roll. Prince, because he was a master at writing and production. Michael Jackson, because he wrote and produced the songs that the world continues to celebrate and party to even after all these years. MACA always seemed to be a bit behind John's massive shadow. Even still, he seems a bit incomplete without John and the rest of the boys. The Beatles were the super group of super groups so there is no doubt that they deserve the pedestal as a band unit. So, in that sense I can see MACA on the pedestal. Whatever, I'm just talking shit through my ass Scott. If you believe he deserves the pedestal, give it to him bro.

Much Respect,
Stoneman

I always liked "Chaos & Creation" and especially the song "Anyway". When you listen to the lyrics closely he most definitely is acknowledging some failings as a person and seems to be reaching to someone, maybe it is Philip or Michelle (Or another) that he's singing about. George abandoned a daughter too. I understand not everyone can make these things right but when you're sitting on so much wealth the least you can do is make their lives more secure, that shouldn't be so difficult. Even Bill did provide for his son until Hilary got involved, I sure wouldn't hitch my wagon to her.

Well both Kennedy and MLK had extramarital affairs... Stevie's divorce came about because of alleged affairs...
Ali believed that people shouldn't mix and we should stay with our own kind... Not that different than what white supremacists believe..

Ali...

The affairs, all conjecture that was never proven to be fact. There was a smear campaign by the FBI against Martin Luther King that included those allegations but they were never proven to be true. Even though I suspect the JFK rumors to be true I cannot with clear conscious say that it is. When I say good character I am referring to the fact that these people devoted themselves to helping other people achieve their dreams and have the same freedoms as others. They sacrificed their own lives for others. However, even if those allegations were true I would not say that it was an indication of bad character. I would say that they were humans who made mistakes just like other humans but who made up for their mistakes by accomplishing things that changed the lives of millions. No, I don't read or believe slanderous crap about the people I admire. I prefer to leave that to their enemies. They love to repeat shit over and over until it becomes real to them. But I am not surprised . I knew someone was going to come along and trash the people that I admire. That seems to be the way of things around here now. Whatever, I still put those people high on my pedestal and it is mine so I can do whatever I want to do with it. I know there are some die hard Maca fans around here. But really, what did he ever do to make the world a better place? At least the people that I mentioned have done stuff to help millions of people. Cracks me up how people we trot out the same old debunked propaganda all the time. Whatever man!

Not trying to disparage any of the individuals you name Stoneman.. I'm well aware of the FBI wiretaps... it had to have Bobby Kennedy's approval to be done.

Kings right hand man Ralph Abernathy made the account in his book And the Walls Came Tumbling Down...

Martin and I were away more often than we were at home; and while this was no excuse for extramarital relations, it was a reason. Some men are better able to bear such deprivations than others, though all of us in SCLC headquarters had our weak moments. We all understood and believed in the biblical prohibition against sex outside of marriage. It was just that he had a particularly difficult time with that temptation.

In addition to his personal vulnerability, he was also a man who attracted women, even when he didn't intend to, and attracted them in droves. Part of his appeal was his predominant role in the black community and part of it was personal. During the last ten years of his life, Martin Luther King was the most important black man in America. That fact alone endowed him with an aura of power and greatness that women found very appealing. He was a hero — the greatest hero of his age — and women are always attracted to a hero.

But he also had a personal charm that ingratiated him with members of the opposite sex. He was always gracious and courteous to women, whether they were attractive to him or not. He had perfect manners. He was well educated. He was warm and friendly. He could make them laugh. He was good company, something that cannot always be said of heroes. These qualities made him even more attractive in close proximity than he was at a distance.

Dude was a Rockstar... he had women crawling all over him day and night...
Doesn't mean he wasn't one of if not the most important person of his generation or the century...

Again as I said it's not my thing... and I get it you and most others see it different... but my opinion is not some personal attack on yours or anyone else view.
Just a conversation.

as for Macca I don't have a clue why he'd be on anyone's pedestal... Beatlemania?
lulz
He was part of a group that changed the musical world but that was the Beatles not just PM.
