The Drug Companies are "RESPONSIBLE"!!! Because "DRUGS HAVE EVERYTHING TO DO WITH ALMOST EVERY ONE OF THESE MASS SHOOTINGS!"(Warning: may cause suicidal tendencies or the desire to hurt or injure others.) Over 95% of all foster children are on these types of drugs which have the potential side affect of VIOLENCE being inflicted upon your self and/or others. "THESE DRUGS" are what is dangerous and the cause of this type problem. It's really amazing to me how "BOTH DEMOCRAT AND REPUBLICAN" elected officials "REFUSE TO PUT BLAME WHERE IT BELONGS". Are they doing this for monetary benefit or are they letting this info slide under the radar so that the public gets so outraged that they'll "AGREE TO FURTHER GUN CONTROL MEASURES". And even worse than the violence aspect of these drugs is the fact that they do not "break down" in the body and are secreted into the environment and wreak havoc upon all of nature. Drug companies are now responsible for more terrifying "pollution" than the Oil Industry!

The whole country is on dope, who ever thought the most powerful nation to ever exist could be destroyed internally by a prescription pad but it has happened. We put our faith in the false religion of Psychiatry and here we are now, in a land that no one will remember in 100 years..
But I have been wrong before. So once again FT, what does the GOP and the NRA have to do with the recent school shootings you are referring too???

And as far as the the "18 school shootings" claim goes..
https://www.mrctv.org/blog/no-there-have-not-been-18-school-shootings-2018
If you’ve been following the unfolding story of Wednesday’s mass shooting at a Florida High school, which left at least 17 people dead and numerous more injured, you’ve likely heard this claim making the rounds on the news and social media:
“Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida marks the 18th school shooting in 2018 alone.”
No, it’s not.
Firstly, let’s look at where this claim originated. This false stat comes from Everytown for Gun Safety, a gun control activism group known for peddling false gun violence statistics. This isn’t the first time they’ve been caught spewing nonsense. It likely won’t be the last.
Everytown’s “18 school shootings” number is wildly misleading, at best. Instead of calculating the number of times a person intentionally shot upa a school, Everytown's compilation includes every instance of a gun being discharged on or near school property, including suicides on school property, stray bullets fired near a school, and accidents that had nothing to do with intentional gun violence against children.
In fact, in addition to the statistically rare instances in which an armed assailant shows up and mows down a bunch of school children, that magical “18” number includes (from Everytown’s own analysis):
A school liaison officer was sitting on a bench talking with some students when a third-grader pressed the trigger on the officer's holstered weapon, causing it to fire and strike the floor. The holster was equipped with a trigger guard designed to prevent such accidental discharges, so the department is reviewing the circumstances surrounding the event.
A 31-year-old man pulled into the parking lot of East Olive Elementary School and called 911, saying he was suicidal and had a handgun. For several hours a negotiator, dispatched to the scene, spoke with the man, who was a military veteran with PTSD. But the man shot himself and died from his injuries. The school was closed at the time.
Gunshots, which most likely originated off-campus, hit a window of the visual arts building at California State University, San Bernardino. Classes were immediately canceled as the university went into lockdown, though a police search failed to turn up any shooter on campus.
A 12-year-old female student unintentionally discharged a handgun in a school classroom. A 15-year-old boy was shot in the head and a 15-year-old girl was shot in the wrist. Police arrested the female shooter and charged her with negligent discharge of a firearm. The source of the gun and why she had it on school grounds remains under investigation.
A criminal justice club student picked up a loaded gun, belonging to an advisor, which the student thought was an unloaded training weapon. She then shot at a wall target, unintentionally firing a bullet, which went through the wall and broke a window. The advisor was a licensed peace officer permitted to carry a firearm on campus.
The vast majority of other instances involved altercations between students, most of which either resulted in only one victim and no fatalities.
Only three of those 18 incidents, including Wednesday’s shooting in Parkland, involved gunmen – all of them students – entering a school building and firing indiscriminately, a situation that most Americans would classify as a “school shooting.”
While even the most infrequent school shootings are never to be taken lightly, the only way to begin addressing gun violence is to first acknowledge the facts.
And the claim that there have been 18 “school shootings” in the U.S. since the beginning of 2018 is not one of them.

Where/when I went to school there were guns in racks on back windows of the STUDENT trucks. We had no fear of shootings back then(a lotta pot smokin' goin' on too!)... THERE WAS NO EPIDEMIC OF ANTI-DEPRESSANTS BEING PERPETRATED UPON ADOLESCENTS AT THIS TIME THOUGH!
Yeah, I've lived a "sheltered" life compaired to many, I know. Had I lived a "city" life instead of being raised in the "Burbs" I'd have become familiar with the drug dealin' "property wars" going on I am sure. BUT!!! The "Helping Hand" that Big Brother(who "LOVES!" us) dealt unto the "lower classes" was INTENDED TO BREAK UP THEIR FAMILIES! It was common knowledge as far back as the 1700's that young boys needed a "MALE/FATHER IMAGE" in their lives to avoid the criminal justice system. And these assholes manipulated the Food Stamp Programs and other such "HELP" to where IF A FATHER IS THERE YOU WILL GET NONE OF THIS "HELP". This was not done "accidentally"! THE EVIL ONES ARE IN CONTROL OF IT ALL and their manipulation of money(getting away with stealing its wealth without actually stealing "it") is at the ROOT of most of the "EVIL" happening in this world today. What Would Jesus Do!!! -M-

Has nothing to do with gun control. you have a mental illness problem and parental neglect. values and shit like that enter into the equation, it is complicated, but it is not a gun control issue. bring it on, it still would be like this is the US , thoughts and prayers dont help people who die from drug overdoses, the fentanyl crisis and epidemic or automobile accidents either and people who are killing themselves by smoking, you gonna have cigarette control.

The biggest single factor separating the US from all those other countries with far less gun deaths is the huge amount of guns in the US.

Indeed, I agree. although there is and has been an increase in shootings here in Canada over the years, I think mental illness is a huge contributing factor and we are lacking and facilities and institutions to treat people , and guys men seem to gone homicidal , its a complicated issue. Did you know there are fewer institutions to tackle mental illness then there were in the 60s , in Canada, specifically where I live one such place was shut down and the people where shifted into society without and support and or assistance ,a large number ended up on the downtown eastside of Vancouver and our drug problem increased! I have walked those streets with my wife, it is sad, depressing and unacceptable. They are not dangerous, like some think, they are just trying to survive, i feel we have let them down and now it has spread to the suburbs and there are camps about, now intermingled with those with mental illness are the homeless who have camps along streets in Surrey. we have a big problem folks,. and it is spreading. it is a huge challenge to attend to, I hope things can turn around and we can have a rejigging of our social values and help pull these people out of this situation . I have had family who have suffered through clinical depression and mental illness, it is a very hurting thing

Such a strange thing to me how so many people are so in love with their guns. Men use to have fisticuffs. They may have walked away a bit bloodied up but they walked away alive. Now days everyone wants to go shoot'm up bang bang! Freaking cowards forgot what it is to be men who can stand up on their own without the need for a gun. Now, their children have taken on their cowardly traits and go around shooting innocent people. I grew up in a war zone and was shot at many times. I saw so many of my friends get shot and lost a bunch along the way to street gang violence. Then, I got sent to a war that my nation did not support and witnessed first hand the pure carnage that man is capable of. By the way, they referred to the VC as "gooks" and that was our justification for killing as many as we could. We slaughter hundreds of thousands of them. When you stop calling people people you open the door for mass killings and all sorts of inhumane actions. I know you love yourself some Trump but is there anything he could ever do or say that would change your mind? I mean, he has done and said many things that are contrary to the man I thought you are. Man, this really breaks my heart. I feel like I have lost another good friend to the madness of Trump. Now that's some sad shit man......

Turdo? Harrrrr I like that one man. Gotta remember that. Oh, I don't worry about this shit Bryon. It just makes me sad to see so many people going the hate monger route. It seems that for some people as long as they are making money, they don't care about what their leaders do. As long as the economy is performing well and investments are up, they don't care about basic human decency and moral integrity. Throw them a few tax breaks and its okay if they deport war veterans. They don't care if they shoot down every Black kid wearing Nike socks as long as he paid for them in their damn stores. It always comes down to money. I'm so sick of it! Money rules this damn world and those who don't have any are basically fucked. There is nothing that these people won't tolerate for money. They will follow that asshole all the way down the concentration camp hole and allow him to start exterminating people as long as their coffers stay filled. Money rules this bitch and money is now in control of our entire government. But, the resistance is alive and well. As long as he is there it will be thriving.

FISTICUFFS...
where the "biggest" and the "bad-ass" always wins...
There is a way to resolve such conflict through "games-man-ship"...
Challenge them to a game of dart throwing...
or a hand of Poker...
a foot race maybe...
anything but a "fisticuffs" where I "KNOW" I'd get my ass kicked...
unless I had a "pinch hitter" willing to step in???
Hmmm... that sounds cool...
haha!

I would step in for ya. I'm old but I still have some skills. Put a Black Belt on his ass last week sparring. Unfortunately, he got up and kicked my butt but he walked away knowing I was a scrapper. I use to love physical contact. Now, I try to avoid it as much as possible but I will step in if I see someone is over their head and about to get beat down. Semper Fortis man Semper Fortis!
