During an immigration round table with California sheriffs on May 16, Trump referred to some undocumented immigrants as “animals.” But before he said that, he was asked about the MS-13 gang.

“We have people coming into the country, or trying to come in — and we’re stopping a lot of them — but we’re taking people out of the country. You wouldn’t believe how bad these people are. These aren’t people. These are animals,” he said.
The White House issued a press release on Monday condemning the “violent animals of MS-13” in the wake of the recent controversy surrounding U.S. President Donald Trump’s comments on the matter.

Last week, Democrats criticized Trump for calling illegal immigrants “animals”; but he said he was referring to the MS-13 gang.

The MS-13 gang, also known as Mara Salvatrucha, originated in the 1980s in Los Angeles. It largely consisted of refugees from El Salvador, Guatemala, and Nicaragua, where there were civil wars. The gang has been involved in several violent crimes over the years, including kidnappings and human smuggling.

“The violent animals of MS-13 have committed heinous, violent attacks in communities across America,” the White House stated on Monday. “Too many innocent Americans have fallen victim to the unthinkable violence of MS-13s animals.”

They called Africans animals and used that terminology to promote and accelerate the slave trade. They called the native Americans animals and used that theory to justify invading their lands, massacring their people and almost annihilating them from the face of the earth. So, now the Mexicans are animals? What atrocity will they commit to them and use that term as justification? It is not the word that bothers me, it is the history of what this nation has done while using that word that concerns me. When you dehumanize people you give yourself a reason to enslave, incarcerate and destroy them. It is a very dangerous thing when people start to denigrate other people as animals. History has proven that over and over again. Yet we once again sit back and watch another people being dehumanized and find arguments to justify it. There is no justification for this! I call BS. It is befuddling to me how so many intelligent people are willing to follow this snake down his treacherous hole. It just breaks my heart to see it happening. But, people believe and follow whatever they believe and follow. Very sad though. It really breaks my heart Bryon but I still consider you a friend. I just know that we are miles apart politically and that's okay to. A lot of things going on in this world make me sad so its not such a big thing. I think?

Amazing, you see him as some sort of savior and I see him as the ultimate villain. Well, be careful what you ask for. I don't know anything about your leader as i simply don't concern myself with the affairs of other countries. But yes, if you are White rich and racially wretched then I can understand the Trump support. But the rest of us? Well, we have to deal with the real time consequences of a Trump presidency. That my friend, is where it gets really nasty. So, there you have it! One persons hero is another persons itchy hemorrhoid. Its all about personal perspective and mine is way different than yours because the view is a lot closer down here. Love from afar often is clouded by poor vision.

Yes, we are brothers in music and that mends all differences I think. At least we have opinions. There are so many that just sit around and let shit happen. They are complicit because they have done nothing to change things. I will always speak up for what I believe but I don't like to get into name calling and labeling. I try to keep things real and open for possible compromise. But most of these idiots are so stuck on the band wagon that they believe all the lies they have been told. Trump is a chronic liar. He has been caught so many time in his lies and nobody does anything about it. Even his own lawyers contradict the things he says. We need someone that we can trust to put the needs of the country before his needs to make his cronies richer. He has a scandal everyday he tweets some stupid bullshit. Talk about being embarrassed? Geesh The whole world is laughing at us. But all we care about is all the money he is making for us. That is a really sad state of things, When money become more important that the people, it is time for the people to rise up and revolt. Its going to be another long and dangerous summer here in the USA. Âany people will die and many caises will be on display. The American people are unhappy with all that has happened and the resistance will not stop until that evil man is gone, gone, gone.

The Irish were considered as being "lower than the animals" too. Traditional Jews have "racist" ways as well. "Differences" are always highlighted whenever "flagging" who those "problem people" might be... whether by race, religion, speech, dress, dance, etc... and that "Problem" means these people will most likely be "untrustworthy"(not gonna be on "our" side when th' shit hits the fan). Discrimination is always justified in one way or another. Every race and creed has bouts of it depending on the times. Discrimination is not always a "bad" thing either... it's simple form is "favoritism" which applies to such things as color, smell, theism/atheism... or "I like MY kids better than YOUR kids"... or MY wife better than YOUR wife... "WE" are SUPPOSED TO "DISCRIMINATE"... this is our right. This makes us uniquely different one from another... Independent in fact! Our government on the other hand SHOULD NOT discriminate! This is ILLEGAL. It is UNCONSTITUTIONAL for our government to "Choose Sides"... that is what "WE" are here to do... it is the very reason we are allowed "DIFFERENT" States in which to live... originally this was the intent... the Civil War changed all that.
FYI- prior to the Civil War "Blacks" owned slaves here in Louisiana... and some of those slaves were Irish. In fact Black slaves were considered to be more valuable than Irish ones. This is why the Irish were used in diverting the Mississippi River with levies instead of the "more productive" Black slaves.

The devaluation of human life gives some justification for discrimination, intimidation, terrorism and murder. Thus, for hundreds of years Blacks were terrorized by organized White Nationalists who used the animal theory as a reason to fight for slavery. But once again it all came down to money. Without slavery there would be no more free labor. No more free workers in the tobacco and cotton fields. No more extra money made from the breeding and selling of slaves. The entire American financial structure was built on the backs of free laborers. One difference between the Irish and he Africans is the fact that the Irish were not forced to change their culture, religion or language. If they did these thiings, they did them freely without any physical coercion. But the Africans were beaten into submission of everything that was considered proper by White Americans. They were stripped of all remnants of their culture. Speaking any African language was illegal and punishable by death. Families were purposely seperated and sold off to other plantations. They were treated like cattle. sold and bought on whim and relegated to long hours of back breaking labor. Meanwhile, the White plantation owners got richer and richer from the free labor and long suffering of African slaves. The only book the slaves were allowed to be read to them was the bible. All other religions were considered pagan religions that only savages followed. The very souls of the African's were ripped from them because of their lost identity to the continent of Africa. The only justification for this action was the dehumanization of them. They created the "N". word and used it to classify Africans as non-human. In the same sense, the native Americans were also classified as savage non-humans and that was the justification =for stealing their land and practically wiping them all off the face of the earth. Genocide is often the calling card to dehumanization. That is what makes this kind of terminology so drastically dangerous. Historically, some seriously bad things happen when we start to dehumanize a people.
