First of all you don't tell me what to do here, if you don't like what I say, then don't comment! and you definitely do not know more than me, arrogant! I don't care if you were indorsed by the music industry! I don't see anyone else having a problem with me expressing my views accept you & larree! You 2 just don't like some one else's opinion on what will make a music site better & patting people on the back who create bad music is BS. If you are a music reviewer, you aren't doing your job right & it's because you don't want to ruin yourself image on here, that is more important to you than giving constructive criticision for improvement! You lie to people who create bad music & then you attack ones who are trying to make a point that will make the site more professional. When people come in here & hear some bad music, they will leave & never come back & it strengthens their view that indie music is not good. music, but I guess you don't get that point, because you don't want to admit it. For once you have someone who makes waves, but in a possitive way & you don't like it! Your music isn't any more professional then mine, so get off your high horse! If you ever made money off your music, it's because you had contacts with people who helped you, otherwise you would have made nothing. There are artists out there who are much better than us who are making no money off their music. Anyone who knows the music industry should know that! It's also unwise to copyright your msic unless you have sites that will pay you, oherwise you cannot put it up on sites that don't recognize copyrighted, registered music it's against RIAA rules! So the music you are putting up on here is not copyrighted unless Scott is paying royalties on music you may sell here or pay for play's. It's real simple, if you don't like what I say, them say & quit attacking me,OK

Since my name was mentioned I'm going to chime in here.

Wes, I think you are mistaken to believe that Bryon and Larree have 'a problem' with you speaking your mind. They are both strong willed like you and this is what happens now and again when folks like yourselves operate in the same space. I don't see any high horse behavior from either of them, they are just being themselves. I have personally clashed with both Bryon (you should spell his name right) and Larree many times. Folks have often said I, Father Time, invented flame wars on the internet. heh so I know a fair amount about this stuff. anyway I like you, you kind of remind me of me. but I gotta say, you should view any mild clashes like you've had with these guys as a flea on your arm and just brush whatever offense you take off, only takes a second. I am surprised you haven't developed that tack yet, maybe you don't interact a lot online, if so it pleases me that you feel comfortable enough to speak your mind here.

On the matter of the 'too nice' critiques, this is something I've ranted a lot about over the years. I love raw critiques. Fuck I love when anybody takes the time to click on our songlinks at all. but there is a reason for the soft tone of most online critiques. It's this: to be a working community there needs to be a modicum of cordial treatment of one's peers. Many, often women, do not want any part of clashes at a site they choose to frequent. I agree that raw, unfiltered critiques are great, but here's the way around that. We ask that you not crush people who are not making as fine a song as yourself. If you want that kind of critique for your tunes, just come out and ask for it, make it clear you want folks to let it rip. If you want to provide raw, blunt critiques, that's great too. Start a thread offering a raw, blunt critique, and some will surely take you up on that. We have one lady here named Choosy Susie who is famous for those, she is beloved, almost legendary.

Let me add this, if you want to discuss what could make the site better, technically by our longtime rules that does not belong on the pipeline, just write me, indiemusicpeople2@gmail. I'm always glad to hear any suggestions but I'll tell you upfront if whatever you're asking for would cost us money to implement, most likely the buck will stop there.

Hell, dude, I was even one of the people here calling for you to come back here after you pulled down your music like a fucking baby and left after you came at me with your nonsense. So what the fuck is your problem? I thought we were having a pleasant conversation and getting along just fine. So, fuck you, man. I don't need your BS. I never dissed your music. thanks for the advice, but they are hardly a flea on your arm & fleas can be very annoying too! Expecting good recorded & sung music on a site is just apropo for ANY music site & anyone creating music should actually know this! Stating that up front when someone wants to ad their music keeps things running smoothly. Pre screening sent in music will eliminate the bad from coming in! When people come to hear music on an indie music site that has good music, they will want to come back & that's all I meant! I'm not talking about studio recorded & mastered music, just music that sounds good to the ear. You must have some Irish in you, because we like to fight about things that bother us, that we know aren't right! That's my take on the matter!

As far as the other 2 go, they seem to think their advice must be taken. We are granted freedom of expression , at least so far, in this country & when I mentioned my distaste & info from the internet about AI, they both attacked me worse than any flea could, LOL.
It was like, How dare you say such a thing. They even swore at me, bullying up against me & saying to each other, lets tell those on facebook what kind of a jerk Wes is. That's hardly expressing their right to freedom of speech, it's an all out attack against me! Of course I defended myself. I hate to say it, but I honestly believe you take their side & it most likely is because you have known them for quite awhile. I also noticed that all their nasty comments made to me were eliminated form the review site & the political, but mine were left there, evidently for others to read! You might wanna to check that out.
What I was trying to do, was inform others on the site about the info I learned about AI & they took offense at that. I know I'm the outsider & those who are buddies will always take sides against an outsider, but I don't care, I express what I see as bad on any site I've been on & if they don't like it, I don't care,. the truth always hurts those who don't want to hear it! Bryon has a big fat ego & he certainly doesn't like it when someone challenges him who is on the same level as him! Telling me, without knowing anything about me, that he knows more than me, is total egotistical BS!
Larree just backs him up because they are both "buddies", ready to attack anyone who disagrees with them. That's I send they rule the site. One must agree at all times with the duo or get their asses kicked!

Last time I heard, we live in a freedom of expression country, well so far, have you heard that one yet? You & Bryon here think you run this site & every time I get on here, you have to back up what your buddy Bryon has said, like he's the father of musical invention! It's called bullying & it's also called forcing your views on others because you 2 think you have all the answers! I don't don't care if you never put my music on your site, Etc & that goes with Bryon too, in fact I've never seen my music on either of your sites yet! If I were to put up a site here, be assured I would never put either of your music's on that site either! I don't like those who think they are in charge & bully up on others who don't agree with them.
People like you need AI because you can't par up to the podium with your music & that's my view. Even Rick Beato say's that AI is Bullshit & it should never be used in the creation of music. He puts down any artists that have been created by it. I watch his videos all the time. You just don't like the idea that you are not professional Larree, that's the tuth that hurts. We are an equal opportunity non profit indie music site. All screening songs based on some standard and refusing some will do is make people angry at the screener. and it's all so subjective. Everyone has a different standard

If you think Bryon and Larree are successful at trolling you with their comments, be lucky you haven't run into some of the characters I've had to deal with in my years online. I frequent one site where 30 of the men there are difficult and aggressive as it gets. I like to think I'm partial to all the regulars here. Bryon though with all his station work is probably the overall MVP of the site since it began so it is indeed a fact that he is a VIP. but you can be too over the course of time.

As far as comments being removed, they did that themselves because they aren't here to fight.

Kick asses, that makes me laugh. You're 10 times more edgy than either of them. Not sure yet if you have a sense of humor about yourself, we shall see.

A note about Larree. He is a great guitar player and I have witnessed him play live and the audiences were always very appreciative. He also won a Golden Kayak for best male artist and the way you attack him makes me think you might be insecure about your own stuff which you should not be.

I've been doing just fine on the net since 1997 with 1,000's of my songs downloaded. & Continue to be downloaded. I take offense at anyone attacking me like the 2 clowns on your site. You guys just can't take criticism about your music or your site.
