The "real" national emergency is the failure of partisan politicians to recognize the problem and stop playing politics.

What problem is that?

Are you serious Scott? The entire wall issue is about 2020 elections and winning back the WH. If Hillary was prez now and requested funding for a border wall it would be approve automatically. Obama deported more people in 8 years than all the presidents combined and there wasn't a peep from those who are now the loudest opponents of the wall. That's what partisan politics are Scott.

There is no emergency, the only emergency is your presidency No one believes you, Mexico was your big talking point and them paying for the "Wall" Your failure to make Mexico pay for the wall shows your inability to truly follow through on your promises. I will have more in my book about you and your terrible decisions, lousy administration and your deceitful misleading boasts of your accomplishments

Are you serious Sterling? Border crossings are at a 20 year low and Trump himself said he didn't need to do this. It's laughable to call it a national emergency and anybody who thinks it is is the most gullible person in history.

What kind of stupid argument is that? Yes Obama did focus on cutting the amount. Proving there's no need for a wall or abusing the constitution.

Here you go..
https://wjla.com/news/nation-world/2006-secure-fence-act-vs-trumps-border-wall
"Democrats haven't always had such a hard position on the border wall. Over the past decade, Democrats have supported billions of dollars in funding for physical barriers. In 2006, the Secure Fence Act passed with bipartisan support requiring the construction of physical barriers along 700 miles of the nearly 2,000-mile U.S.-Mexico border. Sixty-four Democrats voted the measure in the House and 26 in the Senate.
The current Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer voted for it, so did Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden. Then-Illinois Sen. Barack Obama praised the bill in a floor speech saying it would "certainly do some good" and "help stem some of the tide of illegal immigration in this country."
In 2013, all Senate Democrats and most House Democrats backed comprehensive immigration reform legislation, the so-called Gang of Eight bill. It included $46 billion for border security and around $8 billion to repair or reinforce barriers along the 700 miles of the border as required under the Secure Fence Act."

So what? It's still not important now and of course it's not a national emergency.

Maybe a fact finding tour is in order Scott. You and Holo can go visit the border yourself and report what you find out here.
