The new age is approaching
Face it, I have accepted the reality, the new reality that is fast approaching and the changes that will materialize. And we all know what it is, the subject that is out in the forefront of the news and discussion and topics on the news, on social media and published papers, and that is the onset of socialism. Indeed, it is going to happen whether us old farts, like it or not, most of us will be dead by the time it takes hold in all its glory.
Capitalism is fading in the eyes of those growing up right now Those in school, in university and those young people in the workforce. Not that Capitalism is a failure totally, it has its merits and its downside. Yet the younger generation wants a hand at the way things are run, they are the up and coming generation, they will be in political power, and they will be making the decisions in the White House, Congress and Senate in the US, that is going to happen, and you will have your socialist style of government in some shape or form
Perhaps it will be something that will happen sooner then later, possibly by 2025 after Trump or the whoever is president of the GOP, or maybe it could even a Democrat who is president by the next cycle and maybe Sanders could be the guy, probably not, although some Democrat is going to push GOP out, and a new fresh face will be greeting you with "its not what the country can do for you, but what you can do for your country" how about that, is it possible a resurrected renewed and revitalized Democratic party could take the 2020 election, we will see,it is highly likely.
Did you know Generation Z and the Millennial's already comprise 37% of the population of the USA and about the same in Canada. So it stands to reason that the Democrats could have a great opportunity of having someone come from their ranks and be the first socialist president, (Well we already know Barack Obama was a socialist and tried to change things, and did to some degree ,others in the US were Wilson Roosevelt and Johnson, so you have had some that had socialist views and wanted to help the common folk, Johnsons War on Poverty was a big deal and he did some good there)
We already have a quasi socialist liberal federal government in Canada, although it seems to be on shaky ground of late with Trudeau's bonehead moves with the former MOJAG Minister of Justice Attorney General) being switched out for political reasons because JT did not like her decisions on a large corporation, a corrupt one at that SNC LAVALIN who has been banned to bid on Projects internationally for Ten Years, according to reports from the World Bank.
Anyways, the experiment up here in Canada has been a disaster and Trudeau's government seems to be unraveling , we will see if it survives. We have a socialist government here in British Columbia, the province I live in, man what changes, and MORE TAXES and oppressive regulations, ok I said it, socialist governments want to control us, they are coming after our properties with more taxes high taxes and oppressive legislation. I have experienced it and it aint pretty
So there you go, have fun with your real Socialist US Government in the most extreme way ,it is coming, so bear down and prepare .

Most of what people call "socialism", isn't.
Neither your country nor mine is going socialist.
What has people fed up is not capitalism per se but UNBRIDLED capitalism. SInce the death of Soviet Communism, we've done our best here to head in a direction to replace disappearing fascists and oligarchs, and we've done a good job in filling the ranks.
What the growing "socialists" want is a government that actually cares properly for those who can't keep up with the cannibalistic practices of big business today. A society that takes care of those who can't take care of themselves for whatever reason. Sure, there are always those who try to game such a system. Nothing is ever 100%. Not everyone will, though, far away most won't. What out of control capitalists want today is to aggrandize themselves enough to get ahead of the coming world disasters, hide, and evade the consequences of what they themselves help bring about.
So, there ya go, have fun with your rebuttal of my rebuttal :)

Hmnn, I think you just parroted the same argument I've been making about Pharma and forced drugging, and now immunizations. Only you were always baring your teeth when those examples were put forth.. I guess it just depends on what fish is frying eh?

I don't have any teeth to bare.
I'm with ya on PharmaPigs. That is, I believe they're mostly scumbuckets. Not exactly for the same reasons you do, though. Try using some reasonable arguments.

I believe your argument had to do with all psychiatric drugs are some sort of commie plot, and my comments had to do with some of those drugs are necessary, and the alternative to not taking them is worse than taking them. Speaking from some personal experience (not me, sorry). I'm not saying they're good, as such, just some of them enable some people to exist in something other than daily torture. I'm sure you'll bring up the bad examples, of which there are many. That doesn't make me a defender of big Phuckma. Or shrinks. Most of whom I think are highly ineffective.

Please, psychiatry is a massive drug trafficking front and and you have always been bright enough to grasp that. And I've written volumes on the subject over the years, I'm not going to rehash it now. There are reasons why psyches are convicted of abusing their patients at a 15-1 ratio compared to other branches of medicine. 1-2% might be able to help people in need but the vast majority only exists to help themselves regardless of who they harm in the process. But Pharma is the govt now aren't they? And soon they expect to everyone to line up for their mercury & aluminum injections??? I get the feeling that's gonna piss a lot of people off...

when i was a socialist idealist as a teen young person I loved this socialist thing, it was like fresh new exciting interesting, cool, everything is taken care , yeah right ,sure anyways we had those parties here.fringe on some communist party which is legal here, not sure about the states and other weird and wonderful fringe weirdness. anyways we had a stable economy in BC till the early 70s, and this NDP gets in, the 70s this ndp new democratic party, total socialist driven .they literally ruined this province in the 70s what a F U it was... totally took years to recover. so you can say what you want, but we suffered here, in my view. and so many F Ups finally turfed the bastards out.
So now, when I am old, like old old. I want to be taken care of. so give me socialism.thank you very much.

let me clarify, LyinDan is correct,we dont have the insane leaders that kill you if you dont like something, protest, because of what they do, like the nuts in China who run you over with tanks, or harvest your organs if you are a Falun Gong, or whatever, or the previous USSR, who murdered millions. we could never have that, although I dont believe you fully grasp what occurred here, so you cant make a judgement call on what happened here in BC, maybe they couldnt drive the economy and drove to the brink of bankruptcy which happened here, actually a couple times by the same party, perhaps I am being too liberal in using the word, socialist, but they did have hard core left wing socialists within that party. extreme, the normals keep it sane. still they fucked it up bad with their socialist idealism . but maybe call it socialism lite. like your American crappy beer lol

That depends who your asking, the Native Americans might disagree with you on many of the points you're making but all things considered, we've had it pretty good, on the surface anyway.
I'm thinking though of one young mother I met. She was going through a divorce, her perfectly healthy son's life was ruined by vaccinations, something about "No Child Left Behind" being a trap by Pharma causing that decision being made. And with all the stress that created and the additional time & resources their damaged child now required, their plans for a larger family was put on hold and now the family was coming apart. So I thought that this is just one case of a young healthy couple who's future was decimated by their child's life being destroyed and realizing this has happened to millions of other young families and their children, so what is the real body count, for lack of a better term, when you really examine the issue from every perspective?
