Well for what it's worth, they have a fund for SNAP when the government is shut down but Trump won't allow usage of said fund.

“Senate Democrats have now voted 12 times to not fund the food stamp program, also known as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). Bottom line, the well has run dry. At this time, there will be no benefits issued November 01. We are approaching an inflection point for Senate Democrats. They can continue to hold out for healthcare for illegal aliens and gender mutilation procedures or reopen the government so mothers, babies, and the most vulnerable among us can receive critical nutrition assistance,” the website reads.
This USDA is one of several federal agencies that have displayed messages seeking to blame Democrats for the shutdown. The administration has faced criticisms over potential Hatch Act violations in its use of the messaging.
The Facts
The message is a direct reference to the fact that Democrats have declined to vote for the temporary funding bill that would restore SNAP benefits. There have been 13 votes on the bill as of Tuesday afternoon and only two Democrats—Senators Catherine Cortez-Masto of Nevada and John Fetterman of Pennsylvania—have voted in favor of the bill.

Did Democrats vote 12 times to not fund SNAP?
The claim that "Democrats voted 12 times to not fund SNAP" originates from a banner message posted on the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) website in late October 2025, amid a prolonged federal government shutdown that began on October 1, 2025. The shutdown stemmed from a partisan impasse over a continuing resolution (CR) to fund the government through November 21, 2025. Republicans pushed for a "clean" CR without Democratic demands for extensions to Affordable Care Act (ACA) subsidies and other health care provisions, while Democrats insisted on addressing those issues to avoid rising health care costs for millions.SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), which provides food assistance to about 42 million low-income Americans (averaging $188 per person monthly), faced a funding cliff on November 1, 2025. The USDA warned that benefits would lapse without new appropriations, marking the first such interruption in the program's modern history.Did Democrats Vote Against SNAP Funding 12 Times?Yes, but with important caveats. Senate Democrats (overwhelmingly) voted against Republican-proposed CRs 12 times by October 25, 2025, which would have funded the entire government—including SNAP—had they passed.

These votes failed to reach the 60-vote filibuster threshold in the Senate, prolonging the shutdown and delaying SNAP funding. By November 1, 2025, the tally had risen to 13–14 failed attempts, per Republican leaders.

However:These were not standalone SNAP votes. The CRs covered all federal operations. Democrats opposed them because they excluded ACA protections, not because they targeted SNAP cuts. Democrats have historically supported SNAP expansions and funding.

Democrats proposed alternatives. They introduced bills for targeted SNAP (and WIC) funding using existing $5–5.5 billion in USDA contingency reserves—funds allocated in the 2024 Consolidated Appropriations Act for emergencies like shutdowns. These were blocked by Republicans, who argued it would "pick winners and losers" instead of passing a full CR.
politico.com +2
(The reserves covered only ~57% of November's $9.2 billion SNAP needs, but Democrats argued partial funding was better than none.)
Legal disputes over reserves. Democrats, joined by 25 Democratic-led states, sued the Trump administration, claiming it was legally required to use the reserves (as it did during the 2018–2019 shutdown under Trump). Federal judges in Massachusetts and Rhode Island ruled in Democrats' favor, ordering partial payments, but the administration appealed and initially refused.

Not AI.
"President Donald Trump announced Friday that his administration will seek immediate legal advice to fund the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) for millions of Americans.
Nearly a month into the shutdown, Democrats continue to block a short-term funding measure, leaving 42 million Americans at risk of losing SNAP benefits. Trump said he has ordered White House lawyers to petition the courts for clarification on how to legally release funds to states unable to issue benefits because of the funding lapse.
"Our Government lawyers do not think we have the legal authority to pay SNAP with certain monies we have available, and now two Courts have issued conflicting opinions on what we can and cannot do. I do NOT want Americans to go hungry just because the Radical Democrats refuse to do the right thing and REOPEN THE GOVERNMENT,"

You often claim to be anti-Trump but you clearly are not. They had to take Trump to court and defeat him to assure that the reserve fund for SNAP is used.

Well why on earth would you be taking up for the joke Republicans now? btw even though the court ordered them to resume SNAP from the funds put aside for this kind of situation they're currently refusing to do so, that should settle it.
As for the vaccines, if Trump had won in 2020 the pandemic would've gotten far worse because he's too incompetent to have been able to distribute the vaccine as adeptly as the Biden admin did to bring the pandemic to a crawl.

AI Overview
Yes, the Amish communities were significantly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, experiencing widespread infections and high rates of excess deaths that, at times, exceeded national trends. Their communal lifestyle and general reluctance to adopt public health measures like social distancing and vaccination contributed to the rapid spread of the virus within their communities.
Key impacts and responses included:
Widespread Transmission: The close-knit nature of Amish society, including large in-person gatherings for church services, weddings, and funerals, facilitated rapid transmission of the virus. Some healthcare providers in heavily impacted areas, such as Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, estimated that up to 90% of Amish families had cases.
High "Excess Deaths" Rates: Research using obituaries from Amish/Mennonite newspapers revealed significant spikes in excess deaths. The death rate saw a 125% increase in November 2020, for example, a much higher peak than in the U.S. population at that time, likely because the general population was implementing more safety measures.
Reluctance Towards Public Health Measures: The Amish largely avoided or quickly stopped using preventative measures such as masking and social distancing once government mandates were lifted. Their cultural beliefs often emphasize relying on God's will and community fellowship over preventative medicine and secular health recommendations.
Vaccine Hesitancy: The Amish population exhibited significant vaccine hesitancy, often due to a lack of access to accurate health information, the spread of misinformation, and a general distrust of government and modern medicine.
Economic Impact: The pandemic also affected the Amish economy. Many who rely on non-Amish drivers for long-distance transport to work sites faced job losses when those drivers stayed home. Cottage industries, however, adapted, with some Amish individuals even sewing face masks for sale or donation.
Outreach Challenges: Public health officials faced challenges in effectively communicating with the Amish due to their limited use of technology (no internet, social media) and preference for receiving information through trusted community leaders or a daily newspaper.
In essence, while their physical isolation from urban centers might have initially seemed protective, their strong internal community ties and cultural resistance to external health mandates made them highly vulnerable to the virus's spread and severe outcomes.

"HARARE, Zimbabwe (AP) — At a busy market in a poor township outside Harare this week, Nyasha Ndou kept his mask in his pocket, as hundreds of other people, mostly unmasked, jostled to buy and sell fruit and vegetables displayed on wooden tables and plastic sheets. As in much of Zimbabwe, here the coronavirus is quickly being relegated to the past, as political rallies, concerts and home gatherings have returned.
“COVID-19 is gone, when did you last hear of anyone who has died of COVID-19?” Ndou said. “The mask is to protect my pocket,” he said. “The police demand bribes so I lose money if I don’t move around with a mask.” Earlier this week, Zimbabwe recorded just 33 new COVID-19 cases and zero deaths, in line with a recent fall in the disease across the continent, where World Health Organization data show that infections have been dropping since July."

"I’ve been a paramedic a long time. During the so called pandemic, I’d work shift after shift without seeing a legit COVID case. Now? I can’t go a single shift without seeing someone under?50 fighting what doctors call “aggressive” or “turbo” cancer.
And every one of them has the same thing in common. The shot.
We were told it would save lives. Instead, it’s filling oncology wards with the young and supposedly healthy. The real pandemic is vaccine injury, a man made crisis born of mandates, profit, and blind faith in Pharma.
They made billions. And now, they’ll make billions more treating the damage they caused. This the cost of compliance. This is the new normal."

Both of These "CONspiracies" ARE NOT "Theoretical"
Conspiracy, also known as a plot, ploy, or scheme, is a plan or agreement between people (called conspirers or conspirators) for an unlawful or harmful purpose, such as murder, treason, or corruption, especially with a political motivation, while keeping their agreement secret from the public or from other people.
