I decided to drop this post here in the Political Forum, and not on the main Pipeline, because my post is political, and I don't want to make Bluto mad, lol.

To honor the life and memory of Country Joe, who recently passed on; an early influence on me, I want to share this Country Joe album that I am listening to for the first time today. I just got home from a No Kings rally, and was blown away when this popped up in my suggestions. It's an amazing piece of musical art, with a fantastic back-story. Listen to the whole introduction. It really is amazing.

They got a lot of mileage out of it. But they had a lot of good songs. I think their debut, Electric Music for the Mind and Body, is one of the best debuts by any band from that era.
