Two things in the world can't be stopped. Science and technology. And we only have two choices. Adapt or leave the game. No one wants to be grandma and grandpa who can't use a smartphone or send an email.

There wasn't nothing wrong with knowing how to write with an ink pen and send a letter in the mail and having a mailman. I guess the days are coming for justifying population control. It'd be nice to be valued as being worth something "more than a damn machine". I used to do all kinds of stuff and I loved doing it... carpenter work, plumbing, changing out toilets and sinks, working on my car and I loved it. I had a decent job too and didn't have to worry about where my next meal was coming from. And if I saw somebody on the side of the road with their car stopped I'd offer to help them. If I couldn't get the car to crank I'd tell him put it in neutral and I'd push it off the highway onto a service road or into a parking lot while they would just steer it. And that was fun for me to do back then. I mean now I couldn't even use a regular air pump and pump up my tire on my car. So, it'd be nice for me to have a robot for myself now. Good God. I couldn't imagine having robots back then. That'd have been very miserable. And life would have seemed so pointless.

Nothing wrong with using pen and paper. I am glad I can write cursive. It's almost like a secret code, lol. But I am not surprised by all the new tech around us; I am more surprised it took this long to get here. Must be all the science fiction I read when I was a lad.
