a rare glimpse at what I'm really thinking..
You know what bugs me, irks me? Our band has done 3 songs in the last 6 months, Blame, Walter, and Livin' In A World Of Lies, that precisely shed light on exactly what's fundamentally wrong with Trump's America and MAGA culture. and that doesn't even count Bully Baby and Your Genius which cut Trump down to his little hands and swollen ankles. The songs as Neg Ten always delivers are also musically transcendent. but because we're indies and rock culture is fucking dead except for the same 70s and 80s fare, no one even knows our goddamned band name.

yah you guys got a great sound,no question, your sound is very amazing, I have done so many reviews of negten, I dont thing anybody has done as many reviews of your awesome music as i have
playing live is key though, the BV bluevoodoo still do their music, not much call for regular bands and their own original music unless you are well known
Cover Bands are the rage right now
, people want the rocker sound from way back My brother has 3 or more tribute bands, they got a big gig and were flown back east to perform in front of 3000 people for a Bto tribute, started one called Nazereth experience which are lined up to perform in june
seems people are into the old school 70s rockers and getting gigs for it too.
cover bands seem to get the gigs these days and people are willing to dish out shekels to see them, but ya gotta have great players and be able to sound exactly like the bands from way back, my bro been playing for 50 years and has his own studio, does work for other studios and written lots of songs with other artists, yet I think the Live experience is key if one can get the gigs, he been booking his own gigs for 50 years and has a reach across Canada has toured Europe a couple times with his own bands,
I booked them and had contacts with people and worked via voodoohead productions, but quit that about 4 years ago, done with promoting people ,too much effort and time.
best to you guys, you deserve to be known outside of this place, which I am sure you have many other followers online, keep rocking it out

Recently I asked a question on a forum; "could Ian Dury make it in todays music world?" (Dury was a disabled musician/frontman) and the most striking answer was, "who the hell was he? how could he be known as famous, he doesn't even have a wikipedia page",(I've never checked wiki for Ian Dury)
Do you have a page on wiki for Neg Ten?
Do you need one?
I just wonder where peoples heads are at when it comes to music and performers.
I can't get clicks on youtube, but last week I got a request to post a recording of a gig by a band I was in from 1989...
