Tell me another lie
Give me one more excuse
You say “What’s in your eye?”
It’s the product of all your abuse

Sing that song again
It worked on me the first time
Keep on following the wind
Cause I don’t want you to be mine

Chorus

Don’t try to mend the wound
You’ll only make it worse
I’ll be leaving soon
And you can keep the curse

Cause You’re cold
You’re cruel
I must have been a fool
For loving you

I’ll be leaving soon
Leaving on the morning train
I’m buying a two way ticket
And I’m sending you back my pain

Repeat Chorus

Got Music?
My favorite song from the 'Untold Story' CD. (awr) Certainly the signature Bridge tune, well crafted and easy on the ears. One of my favorites. (thh)

I really love this song. I think the lyrics are fresh and well written. The artists catagorized this as "Pop" but, I could easily see this as a Country song or a Country crossover. I like the guitar and harmonica work (OK, I admit it, I'm a sucker for the sound of a harmonica) and the whole overall production of the song. Good Stuff!

Fabulous vocals and harmonies, nice to hear the group stick to the roots with an acoustic format. Refreshing and well crafted song. Well done y'all

A well written/sung and produced song. very melodic and sweet on the ears.

Got Music?
The song is arguably the band's best. Accessible, melodic, not too crowded, with just enough rhythm to make it jump. (thh)
