A hunting song set in the back blocks of New Zealand .Bush clad Mountains and wild country where hunting wild boars is a pastime for many outdoors types whose lives depend on a team of dogs, and keeping one eye on the weather which can change suddenly with no warning!!

We were two dogs short up the valley
Waiting for the rain to fall
Leo and me hiding under a tree
The wonder of it all
Then the Boar was stuck and back on the truck
But no sign of Jess or Joe
The weather closing in and the river rising
We know we have to go
No sign of Jess or Joe
We last saw them on the ridge
With a Possum up a tree
While Leo and me
Were trying to keep up with the bitch
Well the bitch caught the pig
And we carried it back
Scratched by Gorse and tied in Supplejack
Ready to go
But we gotta go back
