Steve Ison
Lou Reed
Steve you are discribed as glam rocker and it sure sounds like that to me fromn this track. I like the production on this a lot, it's very clean with the back up vocals and the talking in the background You use a simple band here that just works with this material very well. I especially like the fiddle coming in out of nowhere at the end. I have always been a Lou Reed fan too. Nice.....

Chris B is one of the most talented prolific artists I have ever had the pleasure to know. She fronts multiple bands, is a huge part of the Hong Kong music scene. She is a great songwriter as this song shows and a great person. Get to know her entire catalog you won't regret it.

Spaghetti A Go-Go
I love the guitar lick that this track is written around. This song has balls. It rocks heavy but not too far. Clean, and dirty, hard but not too far out. This is a very cool song I just can't seem to discribe it right. Listen and decide for youself.

Now this track shows great creativity and talent IMHO. The acoustic guitar as the sole backing instrument plays flawlessly, while dense layers of of beautiful vocals run like rain down a sad river of hurt that we can all realate to. This song really creates a mood and it works for me on many levels. What do you think?

Funky Ted
This is one of 6 recordings I made in 1980 or thereabout. This was an analog stereo recording that unfortunately had degraded quite a bit over 30 years. These recordings represent my first experience with a drum machine, compressors, and synthesizers. There are multiple technical issues with these recordings however I was quite surprised at the quality of the songs themselves. I think my basic songwriting skills are very evident in these songs even though the recordings do not do them justice. I plan to rerecord all of these songs in the coming months. I thought it would be fun to share these tracks anyway. Give them a try, you may like them just the way they are.
Thanks for listening

This is a cool track. This station needed some Regge. This has some interesting elements that take it further than many Regge songs. Very good p[roduction on this. Vocal performance is good and the band rocks. I like all the stuff going on. Right up my alley.

The Labors of Sisyphus
the provider
"a recurring theme of failure," travis gerke is the man behind this track and a theme that I have struggled with all my life. It's funny I was always told not to make it a reccuring theme in my music so I have spent a great deal of time and effort trying to put a positive spin on the negitives I write about. I find this approach much more to my liking. It is straight, and honest, the simple production and the heart felt vocal and the no BS lyric just reems the point home big time for me. Great Track!
