| Right now there is a housing crisis going on in the US and many people are losing their homes. Their pets are often abandoned, or brought to shelters because when people go to rent and the landlords do not allow pets. I saw a poor woman in tears who had to give up her beloved dog. This is horrible. And so if I cannot afford to live in my house anymore, will I lose my beloved cat? This is CRAZY. I think landlords should allow pets, and if they are worried about the house then ask for an extra security deposit. The mental & physical and spiritual health advantages of owning pets is well documented. Pat your pet and your blood pressure goes down! There are real estate brokers running around with pet carriers in their cars rescuing these poor abandoned animals. This is a very sad situation! |
