Free Jazz Tune, this is improvisational free jazz tune by Bryon Tosoff, who sent file to Paul W. his sax guy and man what a iconic piece it , Last Song of the Night is a piano and tenor sax collaboration set in the late hours as the name suggests. This post modern jazz inspired piece evokes echoes of Monk and Mingus in it’s evolving fluidity. The theme bends time and key signatures with artistic effect conjuring a nightscape reminiscent of film noir. It is a blend of some tasty piano comping that is intertwined with some nice light lyrical touches on the 88's coupled with amazing and elegant rich textures of sax playing by Paul Wainwright.

Well, a real cool track here with an upbeat funky modern quality and cool touch throughout the take..Why I did not catch this one beforehand is mybad...what a great arrangement Aimee, stellar vox and bgs too! like the way up there vocals, nice and clear and right there..good one. Nice colours happening around here in this wonderful song...great use of lyrics which bring back to my mine some of that night time club atmosphere and with a twist of Aimee doing her thang and laying it down with such a sweet vibe
I could listen to this all day.....nice feel, and tasty piano too, now that piano stuff, I like a lot and the in the pocket bass with the percussion and all keeping it in the groove....very nice indeed Aimee........

some seriously insane grooving progressions and cool rhythm change ups on this one.lots of up tempo kicking shots happening the vocalist is none too shabby either. definitely a great sax player doing their thang. nice trumpet work. true to the core jazz. with all having a go at improvisational technique. C.O.F. employed quite fine throughout the song.

Natalie Brown has One of most incredible voices here on IAC, yeah I say that every so often, so then she fits in with the cream here of the crop of IACERS....definitely some serious years of experience honing her skills and having that natural innate singing ability , what a gift she has and loving the listening, (numerous times while checking the song out)
Great Vox on this tune, there is some real grooving soul going on in this tune..even though it is indicated as pop it has some real great soul infused in it, for ,me anyways. Soaring vocals. Tight solid groove to the instruments. great bgs too. Nice one AGAIN .....she will be another one of my favs here at IAC........

Sisters kick it out on this fusion cross of funkin-jazz and rock with an alternative edge..even some soul dripping grooving things a happening,I find that it is more at leaning on fusion side of rock/jazz then pure jazz but its a song that has got great rhythmic comps, some serious percussion and well textured production and the girls lay down some stellar vocals
