Snow Day Here in the East....Again.
SO I thought it would be a nice day to sit around and write or polish a few records that I've been working on. But I am not a writer who does well with schedules. I cannot force myself to write anything, I mean I can try, but it usually just ends in frustration. The words usually find me and I am content with this style because there seem to be no shortage of incoming messages. I write most my melodies on guitar, but have been expanding to writing on the piano, and just inventing melodies in my head. I just believe in music and myself as I am sure all of you do as well. I am glad to be a part of this new community and can't wait to upload more of my tunes. Please listen, share, play often, enjoy. As you will see my style can range form alternative pop rock to hip hop. Some people say its too much of a mix, but people say a lot of shit. Who cares? I don't, neither should you. Love yourself first, then let them decide if they want to follow your lead. A great friend once told me, if you have to convince them to like you, you already lost. Very true. Anyway, what is you style of writing and what five things do you need?

I like to write when I am inspired and as it comes to me. Subject matter depends on what I am feeling at the time.

5 things I need to be make a record
1. Guitar
2. Recording Equip ( PC Laptop w/ cubase)
3. Roland Juno G
4. Weed
5. Beverages ( some water and a little booze)

These are just the essentials. Friends are nice sometimes, other times I think the restrict me creatively. Def. someone else to track is like number 6 on my list. It gets a bit much sometimes trying to do it all, especially if I overindulged in #'s 4 and 5.

How do you do it? Group? Spiritual? AM? PM? Sober?
