Jilly's Song a Week Challenge
Reduced Circumstances (s.a.w. # 2)
This one has a slight Zydeco feel with Folk style instruments over a med paced guitar rock backing. The softer intro bursts out at around 25 secs. There are mostly layered vocals and an interesting change of chords in bridge and outro sections.

Towering Heights
This is a song I composed toward the end of the year last year. When I play it back , I see one of my favorite Super Heroes climbing up a wall with the camera facing down at him. But that's just me. That's why I called it "Towering Heights". Hope you enjoy.

Knockin' on Heaven's Door
Knockin' on Heaven's Door is a song originally by Bob Dylan, written for the soundtrack of the 1973 film Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid. Here it is sung by my wife, Danna Davis, whose voice exceeds mine by miles and it provides a unique and awesome way of enjoying this old classic.

Country Test Drive
Well, I've been working on this. In keeping with the movie soundtrack kind of thing. I bring you my newest piece. The "Country Test Drive". The drive starts out about 10 o'clock in the morning and finishes in a few minutes. It starts out with an Oboe thru the countryside and meets up with a Dobro on the way. All the while listening to a guitar and drums and so forth. lol. Anyway Hope you enjoy and thanks for listening.

Hello, This will be my first track for 2019. It's a short piece I composed. I'm trying a little something different in that I'm trying a little orchestration to my music. Easy Killer
“Heavy AmericA’s “Easy Killer” is a unique track who’s elements suggest T. Rex and Mott The Hoople, by way of Queens Of The Stone Age. The result is sexy, adrenaline-soaked rock and roll. They’re out for a thrill, and this song is like the theme song to a wild night. This act rocks, and by that we don’t mean in a PG-13 way.” -Skope Magazine "This song is so literally stuffed with wild attitude, antics, and stunning sound that everything you hear in the verses and instrumentation are SO...

Yellowstone
An instrumental piece named after the most famous national park in the USA. I had the great pleasure of visiting there in October, 2018 and was completely awed. This piece features me playing my 2000 Fender MIM Jazz Bass which was salvaged from a guitar chain store and restored last winter by me. I promised D'addario Strings I would mention them and this bass has D'addario flat wound Chromes on it. Marvelous sound and feel.

TIME OFF
This is my newest song called "Time Off", I admit that I stole the lyrics from one of my older songs called " After I Have Relaxed". But since it was from one of my songs , it's ok. The "After I Have Relaxed" version is on Youtube, if anyone's interested. . But any way, this song has different music and feel than "After I Have Relaxed". But here's the link- https://youtu.be/32PFD2hBEms anyway. However I hope you enjoy this version called "Time Off".
