"If You Knew" by Hop On Pop
This is the other new song that I am currently rehearsing to record in a couple of months.
This one is a bit more country and introspective. Also has one of the favorite lines of lyrics that I have ever written:

These things I carry on my shoulders
They fit underneath my shirt
They say it will make me stronger
But they don't say how much it hurts

Anyway, here is the song:
"If You Knew"

Looking forward to hearing what you all think.

This recording it sound like the guitar might be out of tune which makes it a difficult listen.

Did you change the phrasing?

I really like these lines"
"I smile through the morning
And I grimace through my day
And I’ll answer all your questions
But I won’t have much to say

If you knew the things I’m feeling
There’s things you’d never want to know
But please don’t read too much in to it
Just let it go"

Its a good song I like your acoustic solo better than this version.

Ken

I think that Laddie (electric guitar) was still struggling to figure out his parts at this point. So yeah, it might sound a little out of tune, in that case.
I think that the full-band version is gonna be a lot more solid than the solo/acoustic. Still struggling with whether or not I wanna go full-on country and add a pedal steel or not.

Thanks for listening, Ken!
