With their brand new CD release, 'Something Pop' The Pozers return to the topper-most of the power popper-most world. 'Something Pop' is the much anticipated follow-up to highly successful and critically acclaimed predecessor, 'Crybaby Bridge' . This 10 song CD illustrates why The Pozers are still considered, by many, to be one of the most original, creative, and intelligent bands in music today. The Pozers continue to display their trademark formula of power pop/rock: featuring gifted lead vocalists/songwriters, lyrical depth, melodic hooks, rich vocal harmonies, and punchy guitars while showcasing a flair for diverse styles and eclectic rhythms and instrumentation.

The Pozers have created a unique, defining sound challenging the mediocrity of modern rock radio, while “giving the finger” to the conventional “band” format.

Based out of Dallas Texas, The Pozers was formed by Jim Richey to showcase his songs. The band began playing the club circuit throughout the southeast United States. Their "big break" came when 6th Floor Records’ president, Mark Lee, caught the band’s show at Dallas City Limits, and the next week, signed The Pozers to a recording contract.

Since their formation, The Pozers have released 8 CD’s: SOMETHING POP, CRYBABY BRIDGE, THE SUN'S GOING DOWN, EMBRACE YOUR ADDICTION, YOU JUST DON’T GET IT DO YOU, COVER THIS, WE'RE THE POZERS AND SO ARE YOU, and THE POZERS (7 song EP).
