Kevin "Stik" Paul was born and raised in the city of Chicago, he left home as a teenager to pursue his love of music.

The Chitlin’ Circuit in the 70’s was a virtual training ground for him where he developed a knack for playing inside the poly rhythms that were the basis for many grooves found in popular Funk music of the era.

Kevin Paul never left Chicago and soon made a name for himself playing on sessions and at live shows. He became known as a producer and writer after a string of releases he recorded in his studio The Groove Grove, in particular for his instrumental compositions.

He currently has a song included on the Global Compilation Album Independent No.1's Vol.14, which debuted at #1 on iTunes Easy Listening Chart and is now an Amazon Best Seller.

Today Kevin occupies stage right in the dynamic show band Generation. He continues to compose and produce his own compositions and can be seen performing at festivals, concerts, clubs and corporate events.
