Corrado Rossi was born in Bergamo, Italy and graduated in Piano dedicating himself at the same time to the composition of both classical music (soundtracks, symphonic and Piano solos) and electronic music.
At the same time he had many Classical and modern music concerts in the North of Italy.

His passion for home recording and his research into the beauty of sound
and arrangements, led him into the Ambient/Chillout genre where he has created
a very personal style in which Electronica blends with Piano and Orchestra
and a clear melodic line is strengthened with solid Chill-out rhythms.
At the same time, his Classical roots are evident listening to the Soundtrack and Symphonic compositions, never forgetting his preferred instrument... the Piano.

2005 - First Ambient and Electronic songs.

2006 - "Track of the week" on Garageband.com with "Domani" and "Message from Earth".
Winner of the Golden Kayak 2005 in Classical genre on IAC with the Piano solo "Souvenir of China".
His first Ambient/Chillout Album "Corrado Rossi" released in December.

2007 - His second digital Album "Waitings" released in May, a collection of his Symphonic and Piano solo songs.
"Track of the week" on Garageband.com with "Never Alone".
Finalist for the Best Composer, Best Instrumental, Best Male Solo Artist and Best Instrumental Artist (IOMA).

2008 - His third Album "Constellations" released in June: a personal Tribute to the Progressive Rock band "The Alan Parsons Project" inspired by their music.
Winner of the Golden Kayak 2007 in Classical genre with "Where".
"Aldebaran" has been used as unique soundtrack song for the movie "Crossing borders to save lives" for the TISPOL organisation (European Trafic Police Network/www.tispol.org).
Winner of the Effigy Award as Best Classical Song with "In a whisper" and Best Instrumental Performance on meermusic.com.
Winner of the Nokia Trend Lab Award with “Mercury”. The song has been released in the compilation "Hit Mania 2009: Stand Up Selection" in Italy (100.000 copies).

2009 - Involved in many post-production projects as soundtrack/background music composer.

2010 - His fourth Soundtrack Album "The Wood of Kites" has just been released.
A second Album has been released in October ("Road to India" a collaboration with the Indian Sarod player Bhargav Mistry, Deep Emotions/Universal Publishing).

2011- Winner at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards 2011 with his song "Eclipse" in New Age/Ambient category.
The main event took place on Nov 17th, 2011 at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, CA.

2012-Nominated for the Best Classical Song at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards 2012 with his String Quartet & Piano composition "In the Peony Garden".

	Souvenir of China This song is a short, imaginary journey into the colors and perfumes of the Orient. I was starting to record in a new music studio, finding the best position for microphones and so on, when I saw a little, beautiful picture of the Great Wall that seemed to lead the observer into the sunset. 	Message from Earth On February 1, 2003 during reentry into Earth’s atmosphere on its 28th mission, the Space Shuttle Columbia was lost. Maybe that day the crew tried to hear, for the very last time, the Voice of the Earth and of all the people they loved. I wrote this song thinking to a message that starts from our planet and goes into Space, talking about us...and them.		Electronic
	Exosphere The uppermost layer of our atmosphere, so ethereal, everyday looks to the Universe and, at the same time, give us the first protection from the same Universe. The Exosphere is the first sign of our presence into space... I always found this very intriguing.		Ambient
