Scott, add a new genre? Lo-Fi?
Yeah, I have one (or two) songs that may qualify, but I think there may be a few more on here that would too. And I would like to be able to find them easily. I like that stuff.
So... whaddya think?
Anyone want to be able to find the imperfect?
Also, it would help me be able to find those lovely little demos better, too. I love those.

yeh we like it too------Organic Sounds Station is for LO-Fi (& accoustic)
We have a NEW Genre called Kiwiana----------------NZ version of Americana!
Also------what about Retro as a genre?

Kiwiana! I love it! Maybe it oughta all be called Acousticana or Naturalana or Realfriggininstrumentsana to avoid international strife...I vote for Lo-Fi, as well as Hugh-Fi and Fee-Fi (Fo-Fum)...

Actually - my "career" being what it is - instead of "Fee-Fi (Fo-Fum)" I suppose...drumroll, please: FREE-FI would be more like it!!

Hop On Pop...but seriously...I think 'Lo-fi' is a
great idea for a concrete genre...IAC may already
have it available...haven't checked them or spend
time looking....prefer to make new one's up myself
as a lot of others here do too...although my stuff would
fit into that category also. :D

Here's where that keyword search would come in handy. Instead of relying on a genre just enter lo-fi, low-fi, demo, crappy recording, etc. into a box and people can search for it without having to put it in a title or pigeon-holing it into a lo-fi genre. There are Lo-fi folk demos and lo-fi metal demos and lo-fi electronic demos... You get the picture.
