HEY BLUEGRASS MUSICIANS!!!!
How do you think this song would work as a bluegrass tune?:
"New Year's Eve"
It's in the key of "G" (a good bluegrass key), and in my head I can hear it.
The only issue I think may come up is that there may not be any space for a fast-pickin' banjo, mandolin, or other such instruments with the guitar going full-bore like that.
Your thoughts?
AND, IF YOU LIVE IN CHICAGO: WOULD YOU PLAY ON THIS WITH ME?
I really want to capture the sound of a single group playing together, live, in a room for this one.
Thanks,
Todd

I'd take it downtempo on the banjo and add the Moonshine Bros. on backing harmonies...but maybe you could get that world-record-setting banjo player to do it at the "proper" tempo (lol)...
I share your craving to "go live"...I actually did record myself and three friends doing an impromptu jam a couple of years ago, just as a test. I'm tempted to post it.
