Lest you all think that I was serious...
I was totally kidding when I said that I "hate Hugh Hamilton" in my conversation with Ray Porter.
I actually love the guy. The "hate" thing is an ongoing joke that he and I have... referring to my jealousy of his prolific songwriting and proficiency on just about any instrument that he chooses to pick up.
Hugh knows this, but I guess that I just didn't do the sarcasm thing very well because a lot of other folk have chided me for going against the spirit of IAC with my comments.
Hugh... a little back up here?

I hate you nearly as much as I hate Messrs. Aven and Ison, Todd. I knew you were teasing, not to worry, Amigo. Lighten up, everybody! Todd did use a deadpan delivery, but he's been supportively adding my songs and saying he hates me for my productivity and creativity for a year now...in return I'm tempted to tease Todd for his bi-polarity, but I'm biting my tongue...oops...

Is that for real ? Is it really that uptight around here ? And, is Hugh the secret doorway to the iac promised land ? I had long since suspected...
It's a good thing I never said anything about Hugh or perhaps said or done something to piss him off... but then again... I wonder... have I ?... only time will tell. Then again, perhaps little bread crumb crack'a's like me rarely cross his mind. Naaa, I just know he's thinking about me right now ... even if it is because he's snacking on crackers and perhaps cracking open his beloved vintage box of cracker jacks with the secret prize inside in which he probably plans to give to Dick as a parting gift.
I hope you don't mind me bleeding on your blog, Todd, I am part imp after all. I for one really enjoyed your interview and found your deadpan delivery quite amusing, but then again... I am a cracka

I thought the humor was perfectly obvious, and the second best part of the interview (doing it in the car was the best!).
How did the peanut-free ball game go for your son? Did I miss a blog?
