Johnny Appleseed
Hey, Steve April - Here's a 12 year old song for your new station. It was inspired by my brother John who died before his time and another John who did the same. (John Lennon) hence the reference to "Apple" in Johnny Appleseed. Lennon planted so many seeds of love and peace and my brother had the same kind of spirit. They are both people who inspired me with their humanity.
My brother and I both loved John Lennon and his music, so here is the tribute to them:

@Steve April - Thank you for adding Johnny Appleseed to your new station: "Younger Songs". It's a song that is a sentimental favorite of mine, though perhaps not everyone's cup of tea. Some songs are very personal and yearn to be written regardless of their potential audience. It's a great idea for a station and I hope many more folks will offer their older songs there.

Really cool tune. Super nice production. Very tasty how the harp finishes the tune. I loved it! It just stays with you. I'm humming it in my head.
I wish pain did not have to be the inspiration.

experiences are often sources of inspiration
that yield very emotional and cathartic songs.
Writing about the tragedies in life has been very therapeutic for me. Frankly, everything is grist for the mill when it comes to creative endeavors - the happy things too. I try to keep a good balance between the dark and the light in my work.

Thank you, MortAmor - you always seem to appreciate songs of mine that are...um.... under appreciated! These songs are usually deceptively simple on one level and more complex on another level. The multi dimensional way you present and promote your own music and your brand has long bewildered me but it explains how you "get it" when "it" is not always obvious. Your messages exude complexity but beneath the surface, it's their truthful simplicity that radiates outward. I reason that your complex/simplicity appreciates my simple/complexity. And if any of this makes no sense, it's not necessarily nonsense. :-)
