Self Destruct Sequence
You guys really gotta check this tune out. I had a lot of fun working on it and I'm honored to call Grega my friend. He was nice enough to let me do some production, guitar and keyboard work on this song. I really think he deserves to be heard, he's an awesome and unique guitar player, his bass playing is phenomenal, and his programming is wicked too. Enjoy!

Thanks guys for checking the tune out!
Phlegm, you know you're da man, thanks for the add brudda! ;)
For the record I must clear up, I AM NOT the lead guitarist on this track, that's Grega. I am no where near this level of playing just yet. Sorry if I wasn't clear enough on that. I mastered the song, did the keyboard parts and did all the heavy rhythm guitar work you're hearing.
Never Never Band, yes he's ridiculous isn't he? I'm thinking the reason you think he's sounding like Satch is because he uses an Ibanez JS. Good ears man.
Richard, I guess I'm just open to most styles of music and if it's something I can groove on, then I'm willing to work on it. I really like making unique and different music... not really trying to follow the "rules". I like trying out different styles and learning from the experience... trying new things, experimenting. I do plan to get some lyrics going on some tunes, probably more mellow stuff... I like the heavy instrumentals with guest solos... but I'm trying to figure out how to record vocals without driving the people I live with nuts.
Grega and I are going to be working on a lot of stuff together in the future... would be cool to get a vocal on some of it. Sounds like a good opportunity to find someone for a guest vocal! I've been thinking about recruiting here at IAC...
