So it's -11 degrees out right now...
I hope our chickens are OK. I hate winter. It makes me feel fat and unmotivated. I miss going outside.

Larree you said you lived in Hollywood right?
It's actually 15 below now, it's about 11:30. It never got this cold last year this is nuts.
I grew up in Nebraska and I should be used to this crap... and well, I guess I am but I don't care who you are 15 below is cold as hell and I hope my car starts tomorrow, haha.
Luckily right now we're in digital form and I really have no sensation at all, cold hot or in between... in fact I'm stuck in this position all the time with this guitar and saw and my nose itches like crazy but I can scratch it, cuz well... I'm pixels on a screen.

Yeah, even though we're in TUCSON, AZ --- We got to briefly be up in Colin's UK Country, and it was friggin' cold. If we really get our butts moved over there, I'm gonna have to get back to my east coast blood, that can take temperatures below zero degrees farenheit ! So I can FEEL for ya man.

My dad told me it was getting cold where he is in Florida, and the orange trees might freeze, so it's pretty cold generally...I'm in Boston, and it is close to zero but not below...but it's bitter...and every time I hear the heater go on I cringe...and when I go out I really dress warm...so I am prepared for it..but last night walking to my car I thought my face was going to get frost bite...luckily that did not happen, but if I were out longer maybe it would have...I don't have a mask to put on.

It was 13 degF here in Philly this a.m. I hear yuz, Jesse. My fingers are like dry twigs encrusted with frost. Not exactly ideal jammin' conditions...on the other hand...at least I'm not sweaty and covered with those pesky summertime bug bites...

I hear ya Hugh, I love summer but not a huge fan of really hot weather either. That's why I say spring is where it's at, it's a nice happy medium.
The weather has been weird all over the last few years hasn't it? It's been getting more extreme, as far as temperature differences and the strength of storms and whatnot. Here last summer the thunderstorms were different... they were stronger than usual, but they'd blow through in like 20 minutes... strange. Maybe it's an Indiana thing IDK... but the weather is changing and it creeps me out. It makes me fret what will the weather and storms be like 20 years from now? Or the climate in general...
I'm pretty sure we all know why too, but I won't get us started.

It was about -30 here last night, probably even less with the wind chill.
I had to learn to embrace winter since I can't avoid it. I invested in some artic wear good for 50 below. When I'm out hiking by the lake, I have so much clothing on that you can't tell if I am man, woman or beast. I sleep in wool sox and down filled booties. I wear double layered fleecey pajamas too. Real sexy stuff. My bedroom is probably zero degrees. I have a couple of down filled duvets. I sleep better in the cold. My bedroom doesn't get the heat from the rest of the house very well. It's not fun getting out of bed in the morning. Cold and dark....................

The makers of Duraflame logs are loving this weather, that's for sure. They're prying away a bit of my fortune from the Hamilton Vault, anyway...

It's been very cold in my study (where my pc is) the last few days. I need a testicle warmer. :~D

A testicle warmer, that's brilliant! I think you''re on to something here... but come to think of it, I had one of those once, her name was Jennifer and she was a pain in the ass. :)
Damn Debbie, that's cold! You sleep in booties? I just have to say that once more... booties. I think that'd be hard to do feeling like you're ready to go shovel some snow in bed... but if it keeps you warm it's probably nice and cozy and comfy huh. Myes.
The Hamilton Vault... I need to get me a safety deposit box there.

Here - clip this on the left. Clip THIS on the right. Now wait a moment while Uncle Hugo flips the switch. zzzzZZZZAPPPP!
It's so cold that although the thermostat was set at 70degF for the last 24 hours the temperature reads 64. The heater was unable to keep up, so I've been in the basement experimenting with boiler temperature settings. Fun.
NOT.
But...it's warm enough...
