Hi everybody
It's been some time since I have said hello. I hope everyone here at IAC is in good health and doing well.
So I have been bored. I haven't been able to get any of my newer songs finished due to lack of funds which is killing me. But I have gone back through my files and discovered some songs that haven't been up hre on IAC for awhile or at all. I put two up so far. They are "Abandon Neighbor" and "Till I Stopped Telling Lies". Both are from a session I did back in 2003.
I played just about everything except for the drums on "Till I stopped Telling Lies". That was my friend Adam Bayer. Great great drummer.
Anyway, let me know what ya think? Thanks!
Vartan
P.S. Hey Hugh, it was crazy how fast you had that song on a station. Like I uploaded it and an hour later it's on yer hits. You are awesome. Thanks again!

Hello V. .... I'm glad you posted here because when I went to your page I saw "Hitman" there ... I remember hearing that song when i was trying to learn about Station building and I could never find it .... then after I learned how to use the search I couldn't remember the name ! ... but I found it now ... :)

Hi, V-Freq dood...glad to see some new tunes up - you KNOW I'd give you a listen the moment I see a new one posted...as for lack of funds...haha...I've got two words for you: HOME STUDIO...I looked it up in the dictionary and it said "money pit"...ouch...someday when you're feeling a bit more rough & tumble you can take a road trip down to Hugo's and I'll show you how we track and mix a song in four hours...
xxoo,
H

Father, yes I thought that the Lies song would ring a bell. It was one of the few songs I had up on garagband at the beginning of the IAC experiment. Ahh the old days.
Man w/No Bad, glad you found Hitman. It's one of my personal favs. My friends who actually wrote it put the original version up on myspace too. They wrote it while on a tour of the mediterranean while serving in the Marines. They recorded it on the boat with a simple tape recorder. Anyway, check it out here: http://www.myspace.com/allthebreadontheship
And Hugh, I might take ya up on that soon. It'd be fun to get a new song recorded. We'll talk.
